I was wondering exactly the same thing--that fraction of a second of it sharply decelerating could actually mean something when inches count. And of course if you don't want the sharp deceleration of the (old) regen, you just don't lift your foot as quickly!

Not sure upgrading to 5.8 or holding off really matters much. No PA3's in 245/45/19 in the U.S. Interesting you have them in Canada. Or did you go with a different size? I noticed the regen change immediately (literally) after going from 4.5 to 5.6 early last week. It is unchanged from 5.6 to 5.8. I haven't tested the change in acceleration claim--been pampering my winter tires!

Asked the same question over in the 5.6 thread a couple of days ago (before I knew there was a 5.8 thread!). It's clearly less aggressive at first--question is whether it is just a different profile and it eventually makes it up. I'm not sure it does. Personally I like the old way better.

Satellite view switches off automatically when the car enters night mode. I think that's probably the issue.

@Discoducky--If I'm understanding you correctly, just hit the map mode toggle (always north vs. car-orientation) once and it will recenter you. No more dedicated button.

This is based on only one observation, but the time lag for the charge port to engage when plugging in seems to be gone with 5.8.

Here's a side-by-side to add to NJS's original and other pix that have been posted. The silver Luganos are a bit brighter and the OE's more matte.

Personally I think the gunmetal looks great on the colors--red, grey, green, etc., but with black suddenly the wheels become lighter than the car without really contrasting, and to my eye that's not as attractive. I prefer the silver wheels for the contrast with the black as opposed to wheels...
