    Maximum battery charge level reduced

Final update: - Dropped car off last Friday (2/14) - Picked up car today with [refurbished] battery (1088815-01-B) (2/19) Pretty quick turn-around time. Haven't charged it to 100% yet, but showing 115mi @ ~50%...so I'm guessing 230mi @100% power Without warranty, it would have been $15,000...

    Maximum battery charge level reduced

Update: Dropped the car off Friday, got a loaner. No update from them on what the issue is yet - my Tesla app says “waiting for parts”, so I texted the service center and they didn’t reply (this is normal, unfortunately..) Fun detail: they didn’t clean the loaner at all. Spent some time at...

    Maximum battery charge level reduced

Yeah - I had it written down by them on the PPI sheet, so hoping that will stand. I asked them to double check via the service center text...but they haven't replied yet Hopefully they don't screw me and make me pay for a battery out of pocket... a big reason I pulled the trigger on the used...

    Battery upgrade / replacement.

Gotcha. Thanks for the info. I'll look into the TM Spy / Scan My Tesla thing. Unless somebody on the forums wants to trade their help for a coffee! I search - but it looks like there isn't a magic imbalance ratio / number that would trigger a warranty replacement ...

    Battery upgrade / replacement.

Nah, nothing crazy going on. Just always been curious about the degradation since it seemed lower than other 2012s. I'm at 130,xxx miles

    Battery upgrade / replacement.

Is there any way to check before booking an appointment that there could be an imbalance? 2012 85 here with 225mi @100% Tried charging to 100% from <20%, but still shows 225 at 100% Thanks!

cannot get rid of streaky film on windshields of new S

Is it on the inside of the glass? A lot of injection molded plastics continue to release gas (out-gas) after they leave the factory (that's the 'new car smell'). Sometimes it condenses on the windshield and interior glass. But that stuff should wipe away pretty easily - but don't be surprised...

    Tesla Paint Repair Kit results

If the paint kit doesn't work so well, I've had success trying this method: How to Fix a Rock Chip | AMMO AUTO CARE INC. Just need to get the fine line paint pen from Amazon - well worth the <$10 IMO Good luck!

Titan7 Wheels Group Buy Model S/X

Would the wheel face be the same for all sizes? I know Volk has had more concave faces for some of their more aggressive sizes. Any chance that’s an option here?
