2013 Model S AERO wheel rims

Hello all looking for the old first generation Model S Aero (flat dish) wheel rim set. Minor curb rash is ok, no damage or repaired wheels please. Prefer local pick up in the DC, MD, VA area. Willing to travel halfway to meet if needed. Also looking for factory Tesla indoor/outdoor car cover...

Model S vs Model X vs Model 3- wheel/tire interchangeability......

Well that answers 1 question I had. Really? so the bolt pattern is different between the S and the 3?. I was hoping to at some point to fit the 19inch model 3 rims to my 2015 Model S. Does anybody know for sure or has tried it?, whats the wheel off set differences. What about the old style TPMS...

Model S vs Model X vs Model 3- wheel/tire interchangeability......

What can and can't fit between each of them. I am strictly speaking of stock OEM, Tesla made ONLY wheel rims.

    self made aero wheels

At its essence, its about efficiency, how aerodynamic, how slippery can the given manufacturer make it.

    self made aero wheels

Agreed, that having to remove the skirt(s) to change a tire is a hassle, poor weather only makes it more so. Thats why I mentioned some type of hard PPO style plastic skirts that fastened by quick release clips. Not attractive admittedly. Something similar in appearance to what you see on 18...

    self made aero wheels

My apologies for my poor spelling and the confusion it's caused Yes, I meant wheel spats or fender skirts. I would disagree that the Citroen DS was the only car that looked good with them, The 1st generation Ford Thunderbirds were quite nice looking. If some type of quick release "wheel skirts"...

    self made aero wheels

Full moon caps have been around a long time, the above earlier poster had it right, Bonneville Salt Flat style, Whats needed are quick release hard ABS type PPO sourced wheel spates (at least on the rear, full moons on the front) no one said they HAD to be made of metal and it eliminates the...

Dual motor vs. RWD in winter driving.

When I was driving my Leaf and researching the Model S, the pros/cons, range variations between battery sizes, interior/exterior options and lastly, affordability and while I had budgeted for a P85D, I ultimately went with a 15 85D. My must have options were the dual motor with Tech pkg. Pano...

Traded my MS for an MX--Cyclones, Snow Tires, Whispbar, Mats, Carpets

I live within the DMV area and could arrange for a local pick up. I just picked a CPO 85D and was eventually looking for pretty much everything you have, however my budget is somewhat limited, and was hoping to pick the items individually over several months but at the right price I might be...

Considering used S 90D, but battery concerns

Hello, my name is Dane, this message is mainly for Canuck, while I largely agree with the analysis regarding the Leaf, having owned both a Leaf and now a CPO 2015 85D. The Leaf is a fine car, less so on the 2011/2012's mainly due to battery degradation, I would disagree that it was a "major...

BBS CHR 19” satin black - anyone have these?

Thanks, I'm presently on the hunt for the ugly flat dish 19 inch 2013 Aero wheels ( winter wheel pkg.). Like I said, I'm after the max range, maybe I need to check out hyper milling threads. Thanks again.

Model S 19" Aero Wheels (Grand Rapids, MI)

understood, I figured it was long shot. Thanks for getting back with me. Just out of curiosity, does the Model 3 come with free supercharging, or is it "pay as you charge? Or can you get supercharging if you pay more when you initially buy your 3. How does supercharging work on a model 3...

BBS CHR 19” satin black - anyone have these?

This goes out to 2cati, when I bought my S, in the very end, I went for range and ended up with a 15 85D, I had budgeted for a P85D, but settled in the end. The range is what I was truly after within my budget. I love the car and the plan is to never let it go. Best wishes to all.....

    Model S prototype redesign?!

I like it, possibly as some hardcore sub variation of a future version, but I'd have to agree with above comments, to hard edged, the first gens are cleaner.

Northeast U.S. Outdoor Car Cover Opinions

You should try a cover from a Mercedes S-class, Audi R8, the sizes overall are fairly compatible. Its quality made, indoor/outdoor cover. IMO, I don't care who's names on, I've crossed matched car covers/brands for years, its always worked for me in the past. Best of luck....
