I don't want "hate mail" but I have some issues with the Model 3:

Wow, there are a lot of rude people here. I'm done. Have your fun without me. You Tesla owners need to grow up, and I don't mean your age.

I can't believe you had to comment if you don't like the topic. How about moving on?

I don't want "hate mail" but I have some issues with the Model 3:

that's another sticking point. I don't like touchscreens. I have a simple screen on my Toyota and thank goodness it doesn't do much, as I prefer discrete controls--knobs and switches--for direct, easy-to-locate, eyes-on-the-road, usability.

I don't want "hate mail" but I have some issues with the Model 3:

I have 3 vehicles; a trunk, van, and sedan. The sedan is a 2012 camry hybrid with a space saving spare. I've had to use it. I'd be apprehensive about being away from town with no spare. Does that seem strange to you all here? That someone might not like driving a vehicle with no spare...

Yes, the emergency latch that another poster started a thread about, on this forum. They are concerned about passengers damaging their Tesla by utilizing the lever instead of the correct button. I'm not sure "button" and "lever" are the correct terminology, but I guess you get my drift.

Not yet. I'm in the contemplating stage. Recently, as I just found out I fit into one (I'm tall)

Perhaps, but I know how to change a tire and even my wife knows--her dad taught her well when she was a teen.

I don't want "hate mail" but I have some issues with the Model 3:

ah, we have 5 settings and each one has it's place. Do you live where it's cold enough to need heated seats? My Sienna sits in the driveway where it gets into the 20's and 30's--nothing like other parts of the country, but leather seats can be mighty cold if you aren't wearing ski pants. :)

I don't want "hate mail" but I have some issues with the Model 3:

I wouldn't say "deal breakers" but rather give me pause, as I wonder what other odd things are there about these cars. I've never driven one, but the other day I got to sit in one and that's when I thought maybe I should seriously consider getting one. I'd always thought I wouldn't fit (6'5").

The interior door latch that we shouldn't use??

I'm new to the forum and seem to have no way to edit or to "like" a post yet.

I don't want "hate mail" but I have some issues with the Model 3:

OOPS! I meant #2. The Sienna that we have has more heated seat settings. It has FIVE settings, in addition to OFF.

I don't want "hate mail" but I have some issues with the Model 3:

Gee, we have had 3 Toyotas since 1999 and almost zero trouble with them. Have 2 now and the Camry Hybrid is fun to drive, although lacking the high tech stuff of the last couple of years. Can't say I've ever hated driving either our Sienna or the Camry. Now if it wasn't a Hybrid, that's...

I don't want "hate mail" but I have some issues with the Model 3:

Yes, it blows my mind that sedans are going the way of the dodo. I've got a sedan, a van, and a truck. I much prefer how the sedan (Camry Hybrid) handles. (I'm not crazy about the ride--but handling is fine, in my book). I test drove a Highlander in 2018 but didn't care for the way it...

Toyota does too (#3 -- my Sienna)

I don't want "hate mail" but I have some issues with the Model 3:

    1. You (or anyone who will close the frunk) have to push on it only in the designated areas, in order to prevent damage to the lid. (according to the prodigious manual) 2. The heated seats have just 3 settings. Seriously? Why can't they provide more granular control?? 3. Door release latches...

The interior door latch that we shouldn't use??

Can't we edit our posts immediately afterwards? I meant to put a question mark on the first sentence.

The interior door latch that we shouldn't use??

What kind of engineering went into a vehicle that requires that one train passengers on how to open a door, lest they damage the car. Are you guys serious that an accessible lever on the door will damage the car. That's making me rethink just how "advanced" a Tesla really is.
