I would blame the OP and possibly yourself before Tesla. There was just no business sense in a $5k item holding up a $140k order; factor in the delivery data needed for public reporting and it would make sense for TSLA to powder coat the rims locally. (maybe the reason for the color name change?)

I have had a VIN for some time. 12/-5-ish. Vin in high 300's a day have onyx configured. I'm not completely sold on the onyx wheels being a slow down, but maybe. I would be less skeptical if I were seeing a higher rate of deliveries

I confirmed a P90DL w/ Black wheels on 12/5 and got a VIN 12/16 VIN in mid 300's.

I am not convinced. I have a P90DL with black wheels and have had a VIN in the high 300's almost immediately after I confirmed on 12/5. Of course, no delivery, but in the absence of any known production deliveries I don't see it as significant. It will be here when it is here. : )

Me too. P85 Vin is 3158 ( I think? I know it is bad to not have memorized) and I am on 2.5.21 now. Nothing new in release notes as far as I could see.

I have had this for a while. It is not water soluable. A LITTLE bit of gasoline or spirits, WD-40 etc. will make this come off a lot easier. It came back in a much much smaller amount this summer ( small smudges) and is a quick clean up.

This would be great. MBZ has something similar as well. There is typically a button for trunk/frunk access (# of times pressed etc). I typically don't have other keys and it would be great if I didn't have to have a fob.

In addition to the uncooked rice, perhaps changing the battery may help as well! Mine went through the wash. I did the rice thing and it still didn't work. I swapped the battery and it came alive and has worked since. ymmv.

I am sure you tried it, but I have found when this happens rebooting the iPhone solves it. It has only happened a few times over the year but now, when I have trouble I reboot the phone first before the Tesla. YMMV.

I found when this happened I would touch the bluetooth icon and then select media device and it was good to go again. obviously this only works if the bluetooth is connected.
