Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
as Vanca mentioned, talk with your sales rep and get it added before you take delivery. I've had two referrals that forgot and tried to get it added after the got home and Tesla refused.
I installed a Tesla Wall Connector myself. It's not hard, but you do need to do the research to make sure you follow all codes that are applicable to your area and situation. Depending on where you live you might need to get it inspected afterwards so the previous statement has even more weight...
Well the crime is damage to personal property. Yes, you can be held negligent and thus responsible, if you do not put shopping carts away in their proper spot.
Costco is not responsible at all in this scenario. If you want to waste money and time go ahead - you will lose.
You can try and reach out to Costco with the video as proof to see if they have cameras that have a clear image of her plate. You can also try reaching out to tech communities to see...
I cannot see Tesla keeping around "old" battery manufacturing mechanisms after they move on to newer tech. For instance I imagine the next S and X refresh will at least get the 21700 batteries if not the new sauce they are working on.
Tesla will want to streamline the battery assembly lines and...
Advancements in battery technology, such as dry-electrode. We will learn more on battery investor day and have a better idea of what it will be in the future.
By the time you need to replace your battery the cost will most likely be below $7k. No need to fret what the cost is today if you are not needing to replace your battery today.
You should be fine. I only have a 100 mile round-trip commute and driving around for lunch; I usually use between 35-40% SoC with speeds of 77-80 mph. Temperature and weather will have an impact as well.
If the car already has FSD purchased against the VIN you will get the HW3.0 upgrade. If you purchase the car and it does not have FSD already purchased, you purchase it after the fact; you will get HW3.0.
Short Story - If FSD is purchased you get HW3.0.
Yes, there was a price reduction after the first drop in incentives. The fact remains they are still selling them as fast as they can make them - that is the point...
We should learn about new battery tech in January during the Battery Investor's Meeting. Most likely all cars will get the new battery tech in 2020-2021. S and X will probably get a refresh around that time and get new motors and batteries first. (my guess)
It's really not; there are even strains of grass that can be used to create ethanol gas. Using passive photovoltaic will also be a better option as it frees up resources to focus on food production or other needed services versus energy production.
That really depends on the fleet and the purpose they server as to whether it makes practical sense or not. Claiming that it won't work at all is just as naive as someone claiming the contrary position.
Well you are only partially correct. The flat surfaces and sharp angles are specifically designed to minimize radar signature, the Nighthawk itself is one big wing as the underbelly acts as a surface. It's unstable due to the design but that was solved a long time ago with fly-by-wire computers...
The better question to ask is what effect temperatures will have on the new battery tech that Tesla is working on.
I cannot imagine them rolling out a Cybertruck with existing tech to meet the stated specs.
There’s nothing saying that it has to be a solid pane. In fact with the work Tesla has done with their shingles for roofs could very well translate into the existing design.
For TeslaCam you will need to press the camera icon on the screen to save the last 10 minutes of video.
For Sentry videos they are automatically saved when someone gets close to the car.
You want full rental reimbursement. It’s well known that repairs can take longer than normal for Teslas.
I would also request a Model 3 as a rental. This is less likely, but it’s worth a try.
If the car is not totaled, ask for loss of value. Tally up any other expenses associated with the...
