    FSD Beta v11.x

Wipers… I’m betting it has to do with unintended side effect of the cleanup of the video feeds. Wipers mistaking more video resolution or definition …. for raindrops. I bet it magically goes away with retraining.

Wiki MASTER THREAD: Actual FSD Beta downloads and experiences

FSD just curbed my passenger rear tire and rim on a right hand turn at a stoplight in relatively quiet evening in Chelan Wa. I thought it was getting close, but I wanted to give it a chance to correct. Big mistake! Took a chunk out of the tire’s sidewall. Quite simple intersection, little...

Any Model 3 Performance Package Owners Switch from 20" Wheels to 19"?

Buy the Tesla Gemini 19” winter wheel package ( Model 3 19” Gemini Wheel and Winter Tire Package ) and switch to all seasons when you wear out the winter tires

    Any pilots here?

I have owned three airplanes, two certified and one experimental. GA is *phenomenally* expensive and can’t compete with commercial aviation if you’re actually needing to travel. GA is good for a couple of hundred mile trips between communities w/o reasonable commercial flights. But whatever...

Model 3 Performance OEM rear spoiler $100 -- Coronavirus Special

Brand new, never used, still in original foam wrap. 3M tape still on...i've never unwrapped it. But I'm not going to use it. If you can somehow pick it up in Seattle, $100 and it's yours. I'm counting on you to use it...not resell it.

Would you buy a "higher end" Model 3?

When I first stepped out of my 2017 Porsche Macan GTS and sat in a model 3 I was appalled. There simply is no comparison between their interior quality, fit, and finish. Not the same universe. Nevertheless, when a Mazda ran a stoplight a few weeks later and killed my Porsche, I decided to try...

Voice commands not working with 40.50?

Voice commands requiring cloud access and working servers to manage local car features is a terrible implementation

    NaA or NoA?

Agree, I rarely use NoA anymore. Autopilot with me manipulating the turn signal when I want to change lanes is more relaxing. I disengage TACC on most off ramps anyway because the car slows more than I like in those situations.

Poor side mirrors coverage... found a way to eliminate blindspots...

It must be a seating position, arm length, and torso height thing. I tend to adjust my driver’s seat low and a bit rearward. I assure you it is impossible to eliminate the driver’s side blind spot with the standard driver’s side mirror from my preferred seating position. I don’t doubt that...

Poor side mirrors coverage... found a way to eliminate blindspots...

The SUMA mirrors transformed the model 3 driving experience for me. Could never adjust the driver’s side mirror wide enough to eliminate the blind spot, now it’s no issue at all. Didn’t realize how much mental effort I put into lane changes until the SUMA mirrors cured the problem. I have no...

Anywhere to get a proper black Tesla emblems?

Try krylon enamel. I’m sure several won’t believe me, but I used red krylon on the tips of my experimental airplane’s propeller and it was amazingly durable. I flew on instruments in all kinds of weather...very tough on the propeller’s leading edge. Applied correctly, Krylon enamel can give a...

    Sports car enthusiast opinions wanted

I went from a 2017 Porsche Macan GTS with torque vectoring, sport+, and full leather to a model 3 Performance with the performance upgrade. The Porsche interior is higher end. The sport exhaust sounded great. The launch control was a hoot. Power generally always available, the PDK...

For sale: 20” Tesla wheels, tires, TPMS for M3 Performance+

    Anyone with CCW Wheels?

I like the look! Received an order form for them today from CCS....no worries, I’m on the opposite coast! I’ve spent several days going back and forth with CCS on email (mostly educating me). CCS seems, by the way, to be unwilling to machine a pocket for the brake assembly bolt; but I’ve...

I’m interested in these wheels, too. Does anybody *really* know if the retaining bolt is only for assembly purposes? While i’ve had my wheels off, and have seen the bolt, I didn’t take it more apart to see what the bolt is really doing....

    range when drafting?

When I was in high school a loooong time ago, I had an old MG Sedan 1100 (small car) and commuted for a summer job up Interstate 65 fo Louisville, Ky. Got the brilliant idea to draft semis: I really could ease off the pedal and it did seem to save gas. One day a retread flew up and over my...

Ripped Undercarriage Composite from the rain?

I take delivery of my M3 this Friday, and living in Seattle this shield is a worry. Does anybody know if it needs to flex? Is there any reason you can see that the shield can’t be rigid? I’m good with fiberglass and/or carbon fiber (built and flew my own plane)....

Supercharger - Cle Elum, WA (LIVE Dec 2018, 12 V2 stalls)

I don’t have my Tesla yet, so no I didn’t try them. There were several contractor’s trucks there, and they were actively painting stripes at the time. Did round trip Seattle -> Chelan -> Seattle today, just stopped by to see where the chargers are, and to take pix.
