That was not my experience. And even according to Tesmanian themselves the hook and loop on the mats won't attach to the carpet itself in some 2022 Model Xs. (see my original post). Took weeks of back and forth fighting to finally get the promise of a refund without needing to pay for shipping...

Just had a similar update in the last 30 minutes or so. I went from an Oct 23 - Dec 4 EDD to an Oct 4 - Oct 25 EDD. I guess I figured out the way to get that EDD changed / narrowed though. For anyone interested in the secret I'll let you in on it. Come close...

We have a very similar experience it seems. Additionally we'd hoped that this car would arrive before a road trip we need to take at the beginning of October. But alas it will not. I'm fully expecting them to call me half way through that road trip to tell me I have to pick it up in three days...
Same. Talked to my SA recently for the 1,000th time and he is telling me he sees an estimated VIN date of Oct 20, with an estimated delivery around Nov 6. We'll see I guess. Still beyond crazy.
It is beyond infuriating. Not once in all of my conversations with SAs, or anyone else at Tesla since we placed our order in May 2021, has anyone said "I'm really sorry about the extreme amount of time it is taking for us to get your car to you."
Thought I'd check in yesterday with Tesla to see if they had any info not reflected in my EDD, or could give any insight on movement of my order, and they had only this to say:

Got an EDD update. I guess I can't complain that my EDD hasn't changed for a loooong time now, but I mean really.... it just changed from October 24 - December 19 to a new EDD of October 23 - December 4. 🤷
9 months. Hahahahahah! That's rich. I'm at 14 months, 27 days myself right now. My SA recently let me know they expect my car to be delivered around November if all goes well (because it has so far, right?!), which would put me at 17-ish months.
Well, I don't have a vacation planned, but I did just have to schedule an appointment for new tires for my Model 3, so I suppose that as soon as I buy those that Tesla might then finally move up my EDD or give me a VIN. 😂🤣🤣
Very similar here. Ordered just 12 days after you with same EDD range (Oct 24 - Dec 19), and it has not wavered in quite a long time. Growing more frustrated.
This thread, which now is comprised of 1935 pages, is nothing but people with spare time waiting out the delivery of their vehicles. If we didn't have spare time we couldn't come here as often as we do. 😉 Including yourself. 😉😉
Let's hope so. It is growing ever increasingly tiring both waiting on an order for 430+ days, but also watching plaids get delivered within months of ordering nowadays. 😕
I contacted my SA so that it was "on record" that I didn't request the hold, that way if for some reason I need to place a hold later they can't claim I placed the hold. I have a pretty friendly, responsive SA though, so your milage may vary of course.
Talked to an SA just now on the phone. They were surprised that the order was on hold and they removed it. Hopefully that is better than me clicking the button since they will have done it on their end.
