Supercharger - Reno, NV - Sierra St.

I was at this location 40 minutes ago (just before midnight on a Friday), and a couple of security guards came up and told me that because of their "no loitering" policy, I wasn't allowed to sit in my car while charging. I could go wait in the casino if I wanted. Um. I told them I'd be leaving...

    Unexpected idle discharge

Yeah, that was part of my confusion; she wasn't doing anything on that drive that should have caused unusually high consumption, I would normally expect 250-300Wh/mi instead of the 480Wh/mi she actually got. I basically always charge to 90%, occasionally 100% when the car won't be sitting long...

    Unexpected idle discharge

I don't think so; whenever I park with the battery under 20% or so it tells me that overheat protection has been disabled.

    Unexpected idle discharge

What the... While poking at TeslaFi I found information on how TeslaFi can prevent your car from sleeping, and how to avoid this. I followed them, and Janet had her first nap in a long long time this afternoon... and her charge went *up* from 89% to 95% in the 84 minutes of sleep. So confused.

I routinely get home from road trips with the car at 10% and schedule charge for hours later, in order to pay $0.11/kWh instead of...

    Unexpected idle discharge

Normally Janet (my 2018 Model S 75D) loses about 1kWh per 8-10 hours while sitting idle. Today, my girlfriend drove to Reno and arrived with 11% charge, 27 rated miles. She parked for a couple of hours before heading to the Supercharger. This is pretty normal. She's done this a dozen times...

    Alternate tire chains?

I ordered tire chains for my 2018 S through Tesla's online shop a few weeks ago, and while they sent a shipping notice almost immediately, the package was never sent and they're now saying the item is on backorder. Are there any other tire chains I could buy that wouldn't damage my vehicle? I...
