I’ve got about 16k miles on my M3P, half or more from supercharging. I got the car in September of 2018z I’m noticing a 90% SOC equals 262 miles of estimated range, down from 279 when new and 100% SOC is showing 293 miles. Seems a bit low?

Are you considering the refund? I agree, it's a mental game. Reality is, how long do we expect to keep the car. It reminds me of the car dealerships that sell offer lifetime powertrain warranty, but it only applies to the original owner. There's value, if you plan to keep the car for lifetime.

Several people have been able to get both: the $5k price reduction and FUSC. Many of them simply waited to take delivery or waited to pay, in order to get the lower price, but had already locked in FUSC. Which email are you using to try and reach Tesla? You can also try online chat.

I appreciate the updates, all. Interesting note. I asked a Tesla rep., whether the FUSC transfers if the car is sold, he told me they currently don't have a way to remove it in that circumstance, but, he said, no guarantees. That would add value for resale, but, it's unreliable.

Well, losing $5k in a matter of weeks, with the price drop in November isn't ideal. But, it can always be worse, of course.

I paid around $79,500 for mine in October, the same car is 65,500. If you factor in rebates, I got $3750 more than people buying today can get. So then I'm at 75,750. That's still more than $10k difference, it stings. I could take the $5k refund if I give up supercharging, so that helps...

I don't notice a significant amount of force on the rear-hatch release. I'm just going to let Tesla handle it. Fingers crossed. :)
