Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.

I ended up with the black with white letters. Been using them since May with zero regrets. Winter is coming and our city uses rock salt everywhere so these will offer the best protection.
If you're set on getting a Model Y, definitely order it now to lock in the price. And yes, you can delay by 2-3 months, I've heard of 6 months or more. I placed my order in Feb after the price drop and delayed it until May for delivery.
BTW, where in Upstate, NY are you?
Order now and when the advisor emails you, just tell them to hold the order until early to mid September. Keep in mind September is end of Q3 so it may be a rush. When you order, you lock in current and all future price drops but you do not get price increases. I ordered in Feb of this year...
A couple more. Went with the black after all said and done. I did need to make a quick trip to Harbor Freight for a philips head rachet which was like 3 bucks.
A little, the black tends to blend in more. There's another post that shows the comparison between these and some other brands and it's not THAT far off. Tesla vs. Rally Armor mud flaps coverage comparison pics This is the thread that sealed the deal on me picking the RA ones, especially after...
Decided to go with Rally Armor mud flaps instead of the other crap being sold that breaks and doesn't offer great protection. I was torn between the white or black flap so for science, I bring you both. Whole pickup experience is in the Model Y sub if you want to read.
Flaps: 2020-21 Tesla...
Just put on the Rally Armor flaps... these flaps are SOLID unlike the cheap chinese crap people are selling. I posted some pics on reddit but will make a separate thread here as well
It's 1.24%, not .99. The 1.74% already has the .25% auto pay and you take another .5% for EV so it comes out to 1.24%. Source: my MR3 and upcoming LRY is through FNY. BTW, you need to live, work, or worship in the Albany, NY area to qualify.
Last update from me since the end is near. Hope everyone gets their VIN's soon. Picking up in Mt. Kisco, NY.
2/24/21 - Ordered to lock in price drop, showed 4 week delivery
2/25/21 - VIN assigned for delivery within a week, asked to be put on hold until 4/20  to align with lease ending...

No, as long as you don’t make configuration changes, your price is locked in at the time of your original order but you always get all price drops but never get price increases. If I changed colors or wheels, or anything else that makes a configuration change, then new pricing goes in to effect.
They're probably prioritizing east coast deliveries first since it takes the longest to get them out here. Don't worry bro, you will get it soon enough. Just buy and line up all the mods/accessories you want to do to help pass time. If this is your first Tesla, I know the feeling... it was...

Yep, you're right. That sucks... I've got my order in with the price drop a couple months ago and just took it off hold. From what I gather, you ca can put an order on hold for 6 months or something like that.
Why are you on autopilot on a side street in NYC where there are double parked cars every 50 feet? I'm pretty sure you weren't keeping your eyes on the road either or you wouldn't have hit the tailgate of the truck. Your insurance company will make you whole, not Tesla.
I've got a 3 and my wife is looking to pick up a Y. What if you refer your spouse/someone in the same household but then link it to the same Tesla account? I'm going to guess you still get the miles once since it's the same account and not 2 separate ones? Being both my wife and I will drive...
I've got the non performance referral wheels coming in a few weeks and I'm looking to sell them. I don't plan on keeping the Model 3 for more than a year (may upgrade to a Y or X) and it'd be great to have someone enjoy them asap.
I'm near upstate NY but can meet within a reasonable distance...
I've got a weird reward problem. In November, I made 2 referrals who took delivery and was able to pick up the picture and HPWC. I then made 2 more referrals in Dec, one in early December, and one after the 23rd, which was the last referral period. The 2 in Dec have yet to take delivery as...
That makes perfect sense and is how the other auto makers do it. In order to get blind spot monitor, traffic aware cruise control, rear view cross path detection, etc, you have to buy some package for $4K to get all the sensors and cameras added. For vehicles that don't have the package, you...
Weathertech mats will be trim to fit so don't bother. They don't make a WeatherTech branded one. However, the Tesla branded ones are made by WeatherTech but coverage isn't as good. I personally have the TuxMat ones and they are GREAT at coverage and look awesome too. Others like the Maxpider...
Thanks! I actually bought that relay last week. Any tips on pairing? I have the BB battery in the console so I'll probably hook it up somewhere along the path from the camera to the console since I have the wires hidden in the trim. Most likely around the passenger footwell since there's tons...
Please feel free to use my code for some free months of supercharging: Tesla Supercharging Credit and Extended Solar Warranty
Send me a PM if you have questions on ordering, mods, or aftermarket accessories.
Model S for kids or a black wall connector up for grabs if anyone wants. Feel free to use my code an PM me upon doing so. Tesla Supercharging Credit and Extended Solar Warranty You will also get 6 months of supercharging. Don't use someone's code where you won't get any benefit from ;)
Why dont you set it up in the car to start charging at 12 or 1 am. This way, you can plug it in when you get home and the car charges at the states time.
The coating is inside the glass. If they tinted it in one piece, it will be hard to remove unless you get a razor and make a really straight line where you want the edge to be.

Most banks have an approval period of 30 days so unless you're leaving town for a month, get the loan now. Just let them know how much down you want to put. You'll get the final numbers on your MVPA
Congrats on the order. Since you're in the Bay Area, there are tons of recommendations on here. Just do a search. Enjoy the car because you'll find reasons to drive it even if you don't have anywhere to be specifically. Heck, I drove to the library at 10PM just to drop off books that could...
I traded in a 2 year old Jeep Grand Cherokee for the 3 and don't miss the Jeep one bit. I just picked up the 3 and had a pleasant 2.5 hour drive home. It easily is one of the best cars I've ever driven and even beats my last ICE which is an Infiniti. Can't wait for that lease to be up to pick...
How has your communication been? Other than my initial order email a month ago, I have received 0 texts/emails/calls, yet my online account shows a delivery on Monday. I'm trying to chase someone down to get my trade-in info updated to get a final MPVA. Are the DA's in the SC or are they out...
