Took delivery of my new S in late June and while they make a noise I wouldn’t call them loud. I did have to have service come out 2x to adjust the passenger rear handle as it was rubbing the metal next to it and that made a scratching noise but that is all corrected now.

For what its worth, I ordered in February 2022 and took delivery of my S 2 days ago. I was happy to see the mobile connector in the trunk (along with all other pieces with the exception of carpeted floor mats). My guess is that because I ordered before they removed them it still comes with it...

I’ve also been in contact with the service center about it and they are going to take a look when I take it in next week for a non-working backup camera (one of the only other issues I’ve found thusfar so I’m not too bad off for an end-of-quarter delivery).

I just took delivery of my LR S a couple days ago as well and think I have the same driver side hatch gap issue (pic below)…it’s definitely worse from some vantage points than others but it is there:

I think it depends on the delivery center as they explicitly said no to unlocking the car. It doesn’t make much sense to me personally because I’m not likely to walk away from a car I’ve been waiting on if its sitting in my driveway. I just want to look over it for anything I don’t want to deal...

I had the same question and asked the Delivery Team (via the text they have been communicating to me with) and they told me I can pay same day but they won’t unlock the car until final payment and docs signed. I’ll take that as a happy medium personally so I can at least see the car first...

Got the same text last week and received VIN this afternoon.

Just got VIN NF484, ordered 2/1/22, EDD changed today to 6/25-7/1. I’m sure being in CA didn’t hurt.

Might have been me as that happened to me. They also scratched the main screen (had it replaced already), one of the white dash pieces (awaiting parts) and the secondary PNDR selector below the wireless charging pad (already replaced). Hoping my appointment next week is the last for a while :)

I brought mine in for what sounds like the same issue. They said in my case the grille was actually touching the windshield but while “fixing” they damaged the grille itself and I’ve been waiting for a replacement part ever since. I have had to push the appointment 2x now due to parts...

I had a Y previously so I came in with the same mentality with my X. I had the full front section PPFd and also had them do the rear doors in this section as well just to be safe.

Worse (I think)…they are replacing the white vinyl dash piece that goes under the main screen due to a scratch, they replaced the secondary PRDN below the wireless chargers due to scratches, they replaced a scratched main center screen and will also be replacing the main defroster/speaker grill...

I have noticed in my refresh X occasionally the streaming music I was listening to when I left the car will remain on after the vehicle locks. I have to manually pause the music before exiting when this happens.

Just installed the same ones! The fit near the plastic trim at the bottom of the seat isn’t perfect but its close enough and vastly better than the typical seat back protector with the straps that go around the seat. For reference, the covered seat back is installed on the driver vs. factory...

Yes, they texted and told me I had a VIN assigned for an S even though the app hadn’t updated yet. I told them to pause until April and that’s how the account now sits. The VIN I posted was for my X on accident.

Just double checked…you are right. The contact from Tesla was via text (where they said I have a VIN) and this is the VIN which briefly shows up when switching between the X and S on the app. Clearly something wrong happening here but since I put the order on pause the real VIN for the S must...

Clear cover separated from rest of tailight assembly. On another note just got message from Service Center they will need a few more days as they are going to replace the entire instrument cluster and they can’t get one until Wednesday.

Not wrapped but full front PPF + Ceramic Coat. The shop did an awesome job and the blue really shines! The PPF has already worked it’s magic having just completed my first 1000 mile road trip and it got pummeled along I-5 with all the trucks on that route.
