    2020 Model 3 18” Aero wheels and tires $950

Q, did you break down the wheel/tire and swapped out the TPMS for your new set of wheels? I am thinking of doing the same and wondering how much work/approx cost?

    The M3 Photo Thread

I was referring to this one posted by Stoner. Looks much more light bluish/violet than MSM. Wondering if it is a custom color or ceramic coating or photoshop adjustments?

Thought I missed a blue violet color option when ordering. :) Are you saying that most of the effect is from the ceramic coating? From adjusting contrast in the photo? A combination? I would opt for ceramic if I could get my Midnight Blue lighter but doubt that's the case.

Parking Lot Pose Offers Size Comparison for Model Y

Yes, but those wheels on the MY are definitely the optional 20" Induction wheels so IMO, the picture is a little misleading.

Beautiful color, is that custom? I own a blue M3 and that looks different.

Parking Lot Pose Offers Size Comparison for Model Y

Sorry if I missed it but the M3 has standard 18" rims and the MY has 20" turbines? Huge optical difference no?

WOW...Superbowl commercials taking aim at Tesla.

Everyone, keep this on the down low, I own an automobile body and paint shop and welcome the increase in business.

Valet gave my card key to another Tesla driver. It’s gone.

Very good idea and I would add license plate number to the label.

My new Axis Wheels TireRack; opinions, criticisms, other?

I don't believe so, not on TireRack at least. Maybe another site.

My new Axis Wheels TireRack; opinions, criticisms, other?

OEM, just an easy application of caliper paint.

Winter driving advice, winter tire choices, etc.

Just got the 19" for my M3 AWD LR but not sure they will fit a P3D+. See pics.

Here is a pic of my new 19" Axis Wheels (M3 LR AWD). Opinions, criticisms, other?

Winter driving advice, winter tire choices, etc.

M3 LR AWD owner in NYC area bought new 19" AXIS wheels with 235/40R19 Vredestein Quatrac 5 on Tire Rack. Good ratings. Will report back on snow performance: "snowflake rated" for light snow even though an All Season tire, but not a true snow tire. Figured it may give me what I need for the...

Discussion: Floor Mats in Model 3

Just saw these and considering. One concern would be the foam backing, bonding agents and the type of PU they use (polyurethane, polyether, polyester) and the release of toxins in the car over time. But you only live once right?

M3 Aero Wheels - Do I toss the Michelins?

Very helpful. From a pure aesthetic POV, I prefer the 19 inch and understand the different dynamics and performance characteristics between 18” and 19” from my former cars (BMW 540, Porsche) which I drove pretty hard. I’m now 60, I don’t drive nearly as aggressively so I may opt for an 18"...

M3 Aero Wheels - Do I toss the Michelins?

M3 LR AWD with 18" Aeros and Michelin Primacy MXV4 (OEM) have 5,000 miles but I love a silver finish wheel with my Blue M3 or the 19" Sport wheel. I'll use the 18" rims for some snows but hard for me to toss tires with some good life left (thanks to my late father's lessons on not wasting - I...

    Regen Braking and Traffic Flow

Thanks for all the replies. I did take a test drive. Learned about fart mode but not a word about this easily missed aspect of one pedal driving. :) Sure you learn it through experience but my post was prompted observing Teslas on the road with brake lights constantly lit and frustrated drivers...

    Regen Braking and Traffic Flow

How many of you received instruction from dealer as to proper use of regen braking esp as it affects the flow of traffic i.e., easing off of power to avoid unnecessary brake lights and slowing down of traffic? I heard nothing from the dealer and found nothing in the manual (could be my mistake...
