I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed that I didn't get a 2022 VIN assigned, However, the way I see it, I would've happily accepted a 2021 VIN back Mar/Apr when it was first promised so I don't see why I should let this bother me. No doubt I'll likely take a hit on value but I'm...
So after waiting (im)patiently a little over a year (Jan 30, 2021 order) I just received a text saying I have a VIN (5YJXCBE50MF326XXX). Judging by the low VIN, I'm guessing it's one of the first ones produced. Still excited after waiting all this time. Let's see how the rest of the process goes.
Got it. I'm a LR 6-seater order from Jan 2021 and was teased a few weeks back with a Feb to TBD. Like most Feb 2022 people I'm sitting at Mar 2022 now.
The second charge was initially in pending and I waited for it to post before I contacted Tesla. Both charges have posted and remain posted. I am certain I have been charged twice.

@RachH - you'll have to check with the local city regulations. For example, San Jose has a clean air program that EV owners can apply for a sticker that gives extra parking perks for a nominal fee: Clean Air Program - Park SJ
Yup.. just a stiff neck and a week of not having my car. I think a lot of it depends on where you get hit... I had my kids walk around the card afterwards to make sure all the proximity sensors were working.
I was rear-ended a couple of months ago harder than what you described. My bumper had to get replaced but all my sensors were okay. A wire harness did get pinched as well though so that got swapped out.
I just noticed a similar thing in my vehicle as well (VIN 40XXX) - if I step around the floor right behind the center console I hear a similar sound... it sounds like a piece of sheet metal flexing. I'd imagine it shouldn't do that just by stepping in that area.
