    Supercharger - Reston, VA

I wouldn't count out Reston Town Center quite yet. Right next to Reston Town Center is RTC West. There are two office towers going in on the edge of Reston Town Center at Town Center Parkway and Sunset Hills Road in Phase 1. On the other side of Town Center Parkway is the edge of RTC West...

    Supercharger- Ashburn, VA

I charged there today and got a max of 67KWh. I suspect that the system is partly operational but not completely operational. There were only 1 Model S and 1 Model 3 charging while I was charging my Model 3. I was not charged for the session.

    Supercharger - Vienna, VA

I was the person that talked about having an SC site near Micro Center. I NEVER indicated that I planned to go to the SC and then go to Micro Center while the car is charging. Everyone just decided that and even though I have stated the obvious people are talking about walking speed to MC from...

    Supercharger - Vienna, VA

The Wawa is set to open in early 2020. The Superchargers could certainly open before the Wawa. Let's hope that happens.

    Supercharger - Vienna, VA

It is not the same set of chargers. The Tyson Corner SCs are supposed to be at Bloomingdales.

    Supercharger - Vienna, VA

I didn't expect to plug in to the supercharger and go to MicroCenter while it was charging. I could go to MicroCenter and then go to the V3 chargers or the other way around - SC first, MC second.

    Supercharger - Tysons, VA

Not for me if they are installed like Tysons Corner's destination chargers are installed. They have 4 wall chargers on a 100A circuit and another 3 wall chargers. If you get one on the 4-100A circuit and all 4 are occupied you only get 25% of the charging capacity. Considering that you can...

    Supercharger - Vienna, VA

This will be great!!! V3 should be able to give me all I need in 30 minutes and it's really close to the Micro Center at Nutley and Lee Highway. Go to Micro Center and get a charge!!!

    Reston, VA Fast Charging Options

There are evidently negotiations going on to have Tesla, Electrify America and possibly other charging options go into Reston Town Center. I'm sure it won't be done in the short term. The Leesburg SC is now open and only about 4 miles past Dulles Town Center just off Route 7. I got a boatload...

In the Bay Area today, a red light was run and there was a car fire

This is such total BS. Even if the Tesla driver was using autopilot it doesn't recognize red lights and stop at them. It's so absurd.

    Supercharger - Tysons, VA

I heard that a single person at Dominion Power is basically delaying this and that Tysons Corner is putting pressure on Dominion to get this moving and done. Evidently Tysons Corner has excess power coming into the property so the required power is already on site - it just has to be tapped...

    Supercharger - Leesburg, VA

I was the one charging when Reddy Kolowatt was there. I started charging at 5:02 PM using stall 1B and I got to 70KWh and 300mph at the fastest point. I had 126 miles of range when I got there and added 189 miles of range to go up to 315 miles in 53 minutes. I was charges 21 cents per KWh...

Thinking about joining legal action on recent massive price cut

Let's sue because the free enterprise system exists and companies are now allowed to change prices. ICE car manufacturers change prices all the time but no one sues them. I guess it's wrong for a company to start selling a product, realize reduced costs over time as they streamline production...

In the Bay Area today, a red light was run and there was a car fire

I don't understand the significance of the fact that the car that ran a red light was a Tesla. The driver did it not the car.

    Supercharger - Tysons, VA

Not according to the rejected Permit application on the Fairfax County site. It's 5 charging cabinets and 10 charging posts: Permit Description: installation of (5) tesla charging cabinets/ten (10) charging posts/one (1) qed switchger assembly/five (5) auto transformes/one (1) utility...

    FSD just increased price

I'm very glad that I pulled the trigger and bought both EAP and FSD both in March. People that had bought cars late last year bitched and moaned when the cars dropped in price and for a short period of time Tesla cut the price for both together for $5K. I had not purchased any of the auto...

    Skabooshka's Model 3 Production Numbers

Look, this guy is a real nut case and as far as I'm concerned the NSF should pull his grant and based on his criminal behavior (trespassing) he could be deported if he isn't a US citizen. I'm all for Tesla going after him with vigor and taking him down. He's a total asshole who is shorting the...

Thinking about joining legal action on recent massive price cut

All of this is total BS. Lawsuits based on the fact that a price drop occurred is completely absurd. Maybe there should be a law preventing lawsuits from being filed because a company improved their cost of producing a product due to scale and actually lowered the price instead of making more...

Thinking about joining legal action on recent massive price cut

I don't know about others but when I factor everything in and if I buy AP/FSD now at the reduced price I would pay $1,450 more for the same vehicle now. So I saved money (due to the $3,760 more in tax credit) buy buying in July 2019 as opposed to now.

This will be an unpopular view but...

I don't understand how you came up with 11k. Even with $1K post order price for AP/EAP it would have totaled $10K not $11K. In addition, if you bought your Model 3 in the past - have you looked at your Tesla account? AP/FSD upgrade prices were lowered for owners that ordered the cars before...

QUOTE="csdread, post: 3434973, member: 90090"]I am more upset that we did not know they were changing the pricing structure on the Auto Pilot features. I know I messed up when I did not buy it for 5k with the car new, but was saving the 7k to buy it. Now i need 11k to buy it, i would have moved...

I had no idea insurance was so much!

I live in Northern Virginia and I had been with Geico since 1992 (26 years) and paying $470 every six months for a 2012 Nissan Altima. The coverage was $500k/500k bodily injury liability, $250k property damage liability, $5k medical, $300k/300k uninsured motorist bodily injury, $100k uninsured...
