    Supercharger - Wellington, UT

…. Islanded stall says specifically priority for trailers. Will also be nice for Ford and Rivian,

    Supercharger - Gunnison, CO

V4 chargers where CyberTrucks are more likely to roam. I hope this is upgraded to 1000v, 350kW before it deploys.
  3. Utah John

Supercharger - Okeechobee, FL (Yeehaw Junction)

Wow. Just wow. I’m wondering though, when we see the V4 power rating match or exceed the power the CyberTruck can pull. Are these V3 cabinets and V4 pedestals? I wonder when we will see an honest to goodness V4 station.

Supercharger - Bryce Canyon City, UT

Garkane is already working on putting in the support for Bryce Canyon City’s supercharger, and it is expected to open in June of this year. Oh, and I got my picture on the cover of the Insider! https://www.insiderutah.com/articles/highway-12-electrified/

    Supercharger - Ely, NV

I know that US-50 has that moniker from the Nevada Tourism Council, but I would give the trophy to US-2, The Highline, as the loneliest road in America. It currently has a 1200 mile SuperCharger deficit, but I also give it the lable of 'coup de gras' for the combustion engine when it is...

Supercharger - Bryce Canyon City, UT

I live on UT-12. My vote would be for Torrey or even better yet, Hanksville for the next Supercharger after Bryce Canyon City on Utah's Grand Circle auto route. Kayenta, AZ - which is listed as a target opening in 2024 - would also allow a complete EV Grand Circle tour. Torrey makes sense...

Supercharger - Bryce Canyon City, UT

Destination chargers are great for places you go to, and Superchargers are great for places you are going through. A single overnight stop at any of the dozens ok hotels with a destination charger, and travel within the Bryce/Grand Staircase/Capitol Reef area is very easy. I get it though, the...

Supercharger - Bryce Canyon City, UT

I have organized a Tesla/EV rally on UT-12 for the past five years. We always travel between Escalante and Torrey, and occasionally pass through Bryce. Each year we require RV site reservations which limits the number of cars that can participate. If this charger is in operation by October, I...

    Supercharger - Richfield, UT - W 1250 S

I can eat a meal at Tamarisk and still get back to my car with the V2 chargers. I may still use them during lunch or dinner hours. Unless if course if they install V3 close enough to Rays. Then I will go to Rays.

    Supercharger - Richfield, UT - W 1250 S

Green River should be next to get a V3 or better yet a V4 upgrade. It’s always quite a shock to travel through Colorado with superchargers every 25 miles and most of them V3, then get slammed by 100 mile stretches between V2 chargers.

    Supercharger - Evergreen Park, IL

OK, what's up with the disabled charge posts.
  12. Utah John

    Supercharger - Richfield, UT - W 1250 S

I thought that by the time I returned from a five week vacation the supercharger would be open. Sigh. What is notable, is that it seems when it does open there will be trash cans. This is a major upgrade for supercharger amenities.

    Supercharger - Richfield, UT - W 1250 S

I won’t be back in Utah till after thanksgiving. I hope they wait for me to come home before they energize them. SMH
  14. Utah John

    Supercharger - Richfield, UT - W 1250 S

Richfield is my closest supercharger. I'll go make a visit soon. It's also dead center for the Annular eclipse this Saturday, so they should expedite the install - there are going to be a lot of folks in town.
  15. Utah John

    Supercharger - Scipio, UT

When Ely, NV is also supercharged, Scipio will be a great jumping off point for the loneliest road in America, US-50. Austin, NV next please.
  16. Utah John

Supercharger - Kalispell, MT (under construction Apr 2024, 8 V4 stalls)

Great news. Let’s get Shelby, MT on the map next.
  17. Utah John

Supercharger - Las Vegas, NV - W Tropical Pkwy

Fantastic! This will save a lot of time when I travel past Las Vegas!
  18. Utah John

    Supercharger - Minot, ND

'Nothing' is truck country, and the last timeI was in Watford I was a little shocked at how little it resembled the sleepy little town happy to just have a dairy queen. 'Nothing' country will need Superchargers when CyberTruck is shipping. If you cant take your truck into the nothing, why have...

    Supercharger - Minot, ND

The Highline is getting electrified. Looking forward to a coast to coast EV rally. Yes, this will take a while, but the wait will be worth it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Route_2
  20. Utah John

    Supercharger - Estevan, SK

    Cool. Wen Minot?
  21. Utah John

Supercharger - Las Vegas, NV - W Tropical Pkwy

It’s 188 miles from Mesquite to Beatty, and I am so tired of driving into Las Vegas on my way through. I either have to slow down, or not use air conditioning to skip Las Vegas, and in August, I’m not going to skip air conditioning. Open by August, please!

This one goes to 251. /SpinalTap
  23. Utah John

    Supercharger - Cranbrook, BC

If the supercharger goes online by 7am Wednesday, my route back to Utah goes through Cranbrook.
  24. Utah John

    Supercharger - Cranbrook, BC

Not quite yet. It would be nice to grab a charge on my way back from Lake Louise.
  25. Utah John

    Supercharger - Cranbrook, BC

Waxed (skis) and Vaxed (me), and heading this way soon.
  26. Utah John

    Supercharger - Castlegar, BC

Skis waxed, me vaxed, and waiting for the supercharger to open. I need a ski trip.
  27. Utah John

    Supercharger - Mesquite, NV

All Teslas should auto park in supercharger stalls.
  28. Utah John

    Supercharger - Mesquite, NV

186 miles to Beatty. Still room for a charger on the NW corner of Las Vegas.
  29. Utah John

    Supercharger - Bemidji, MN

….and people mocked me when I suggested that the high line was being supercharged. Minot will be next.
  30. Utah John

    Supercharger - Escanaba, MI

Yes! One more supercharger brought up on The Highline, US 2. Cant wait for the Highine Tesla Rally that is inevitable when this rural route is electrified.
  31. Utah John

    Supercharger - Grand Forks ND

    Minot should be next…..
  32. Utah John

    Supercharger - Bemidji, MN

    It’s the finish line.

    Supercharger - Bemidji, MN

The electric High line coming in. Tesla road trip from Seattle to Macinack Island being planned....
  34. Utah John

    Supercharger - Craig, CO

This is great news. I see this as a building up of the undivided highway infrastructure that will be required for Cybertruck adoption. As often as is practical, I take undivided highways between interstate superchargers. There are big voids that chargers like Craig and Kremmling help open up...

    Supercharger - Dickinson, ND

without Teddy, there are no other national parks. walk out to the Elkhorn site at sunrise, sit down on the banks of the muddy, and give the guy some props. Wait till the Monarda Fistulosa is in bloom, and even then you will likely to have the place all to yourself, and that is a joy you don’t...
  36. Utah John

    Supercharger - Dickinson, ND

Dickenson has always been the most important ND supercharger, as it opens up not only my favourite National Park (and Utah has 5 lesser National Parks) but a gloaty electric drive through the Bakken to visit family.
  37. Utah John

    Supercharger - Dickinson, ND

Lighten up Francis. If there was a highway that was a poster child for 'never gonna happen' it would be Route 2. Your keen eye has noted that all those superchargers are actually at intersections of Route 2 and other highways - and yes it's clear that the superchargers were put there to serve...

    Supercharger - Dickinson, ND

A lot is going to change in 2020. After Canada gets their route 1 supercharged, US route 2 is quietly getting supercharged. From Mackinaw City, MI to Monroe, WA is 2090 miles on route 2. With 9 superchargers already in place or planned, that is one supercharger for every 261 miles on...

    Supercharger - Dickinson, ND

Nah, put a stake in the heart of ICE, and put the Regina SC connector station in Williston. Watford would be even more interesting, but there really isn’t a crossroads there to serve multiple routing options.

    Supercharger - Dickinson, ND

Spearfish, SD is an easy drive from Dickenson. I expect we will see those cones move down i94 until they finish in Alex.
  41. Utah John

    Supercharger - Dickinson, ND

I still have the only 1722 within my county, so visitors are few and far between, but generally grateful. Recently two new seasonal destination chargers have taken some of the load off me! :)

    Supercharger - Dickinson, ND

Yet a supercharger in your home town is not very useful.

    Supercharger - Dickinson, ND

The story is long and complicated if you want to hear it. Arrived a day early for my reservation and asked to charge for a few hours. They said they were full even though not all the spots were currently occupied. So I asked them to check on my nights reservation for the next day. Only then...

    Supercharger - Dickinson, ND

... Medora campground manager would not allow me to go to lunch while I was paying to charge during the day. She said I had to remain with my vehicle just in case an RV needed my spot. During the 4 days I was in Medora, I never saw an RV in the short non pull through RV pad that I used.
  45. Utah John

    Supercharger - Dickinson, ND

Missed it by THAT much. Chillin in Medora instead of chargin in Dickenson. Some day i94 will have more Teslas.
  46. Utah John

    Supercharger - Pembina, ND

I live nowhere near a supercharger, and that fine with me. I don’t need one near my home. 100 miles in every direction is about right.
  47. Utah John

    Supercharger - Dickinson, ND

At the shareholders meeting , Elon indicated that going forward installs would be urban chargers or V3 superchargers. I expect that as you watch supercharge.info there will be a pretty clean break between V2 and V3. After the fist V3 are deployed outside of Fremont, all new interstate chargers...

    Supercharger - Pembina, ND

I was hoping that Dickenson would go live before I visit Medora in two months. I am double booked for the Roughrider+campground on the first day so that I can dust off the miles from Spearfish that first night. What did the campground charge for overnight charging?

    2019 Tesla shareholder meeting lunch

Just confirmed a June 12 factory tour at 11am. Apparently factory tours are back the menu after being put on hold. Wonder what I will be able to see with regard to the ‘rejiggering’.
