Iirc when I got the P3D it wasn’t on the list at the time. (P3D was too new) Still got the CA rebate and HOV stickers. (Don’t have edison power here.) I think the eligibility list is only updated every 6 mos or so. (The CA govt website should explain this.)

Yep. Am in sfbayarea and got a check for 5450 last week. Wasn’t expecting tax, but that makes sense. FWIW I believe we are still out a bit when it comes to registration and insurance (probly depends) but oh well.

I learned how to use the manual wiper settings to go to “always wipe no delay” when there is enough rain to justify it. Yeah.. would be nice if the sensing was a tad bit more aggressive. But a higher priority imo is sentry mode and an in-cabin manual drunk release.

That looks like it has a completely different to-the-trunk-sheet-metal mounting strategy. The holes for mounting the plate seem to be in the “groove” on the sheet metal. Are the four corner holes in the trunk even used? It would seem that adding the plate would require drilling new holes...

i just looked up the residential rate for the Big Island and see it is like 34 cents / kWh. Here in the SF Bay Area electricity runs about 12 - 20 cents / KWh. My average cost is just under 15 cents. Supercharger here is 26 cents / kWh. So 34 cents / kWh is ~probably~ less than buying...

I did some math based on the Tesla SC tool that shows $100 SC cost for 1500 mile trip. $5000 would pay for 75000 miles of supercharging. I would only us the SC for long out-of-town trips (like 1000 mile round-trips). (I can get free charging at work.) I think I’ll take the refund also.

Based on my model 3 delivery (9/9/2018, in Fremont) i would say probably not. Our car was delivered with 165 miles of range. About 50%. They said they didn’t have the capacity to fully charge all the cars.

Thx for the info on OSH. Hope they still got the fasteners. Same problem here... and not only that but the ppl installing the zero emissions tag scratched the paint around the fasteners. I’m hoping to cover this up with maybe some gorilla tape.
