my interpretation what Max meant was to get the 2 leaps, and only sell one call if you are selling CC close to or ATM, since they can get away from you if SP goes up quickly (which we've seen SMCI do in both directions). and basically have the other LEAP as a "reserve" in case the first goes...

Jim - if that -P250 is a CSP, there should be options to roll available to increase the extrinsic (and down to lower the margin) - right? edit - just looked rolling to June 26 gets 10 extrinsic but ties $ up much longer. that far out only can go to 240 for credit, or 230 for debit

one option - hopefully others chime in..... hoping that you dont need the shares for a while.... looks like the extrinsic is at or near 0 - i see ~ 560 for the Jun C300. If you dont need the shares - you can roll to Dec 26 and raise the strike to 350 for close to even its not alot of help...
