Doing that after each update is not a viable solution to an inherent problem. The phone key issue has been lingering for more than a year now and Tesla has to provide an interim solution like a keyfob until the phone key issue is resolved .

Totally agree with you on the Rain Sensing.

They have no idea about the price, or if it going to be free. Their only suggestion was to keep checking the Tesla Online shop. Apparently that is the place it would show up first.

I have been having problems ever since June when I got my M3, but seems to have got slightly better after 42.2

Just back from a Tesla Service Centre and they do not have any M3 fobs yet, neither do they have any idea about the availability time frame.

It seems like you have a defective seat - having problems with the seat in 1 week / 500 miles. Suggest you get them fixed under warranty. I have covered more than 10K miles on my M3 in the last 5 months, and I have not experienced any of the problems with the seats that you have mentioned...

My EZPass works fine on the M3 - mounted next to the rear view mirror on the passenger side. So I don't feel there is any coating on the windshield. Bought a new Radar detector as well to go with the M3 and it works. Gets too many false alarms though. Not sure if it is because of the Radar...

Hopefully the fob whenever available will take care of this on going issue and we will have a system that works 100% of the time, especially now that winter is approaching. I wouldn't want to stand in a snow storm trying to get the car to wake up and let me in.

Just checking to see if anyone in the group uses a Radar Detector. If yes, do you notice any interference / false alarms due to vehicle electronics?
