Yes, as @mongo also highlighted, you both are probably right. It seems to get better the less DTE you get. Are you on IBKR too? Anyone out here on another brokerage platform can see more granular strikes for 5/27 below 600?

If you take out the "based on earnings last week" part of your argument / thought process - how does it change your supposition?

Technical question: Using IBKR, I'm looking at rolling a May 20 BPS down + out a week (May 27) for a nice credit. However I cannot get a strike of the long put printing in anything other than $50 increments (so I can get +600, +550, +500, but not +545 or +575) ? I know for longer DTE options...

Do we know who the legal European owner of GigaBerlin is? Is there a European holding co? For example Tesla S.E. (SE is a European Company, Societas Europea) as the holding which in turn owns Tesla Germany GmbH (GmbH is like a LLC)? I could imagine they would park gains there (offshore).

The stragglers are going to be commercial and industrial vehicles. 8 years is going to be a challenge for them. But I’m hopeful that my country will figure that out just as well as they did the genesis of solar (and wind) power transition in the early 2000s.

If this goes the way of - for example - Foxconn in Shenzhen, then GigaShanghai should be back up in a couple of days. Fingers crossed etc.

I can't imagine that this is anything other than reacting to inflationary pressure (cost increases in plain language) that Tesla aver facing right now. They might have hedged smartly in the previous year(s), and vertical integration helps, but ultimately RM, fuel, etc. has been shooting up...

I have a question on rolling that far out. Other than locking in your margin for the duration, is there another downside? What is an early exit-strategy? Assuming a rising market - does rolling closer in and up (say to Jun 2023) make sense?
