Non truck use cases for CT (or any truck)

I guess that's my point, it's going to work just fine. It just looks different and it's electric so I think there's a valid point about the range being less than adequate but as far as all the other functionality goes, it appears to me that it'll be just fine as a truck but be more appealing to...

Non truck use cases for CT (or any truck)

Great point. IMHO the short bed is pretty useless and about the same as the trunk space in the X. The advantage I see in the CT config is that the interior is like an X in styling and quality while the bed is deep enough to put longer items e.g. bicycles, mattresses, IKEA boxes etc. Think soccer...

Cybertruck "Foundation series" is a fantastic exercise in economics! ... and PROFITable

Let the hate flow. It will drive sales and profits and maybe I can take a vacation.

Non truck use cases for CT (or any truck)

Ok so everyone, everywhere, has an opinion about the cybertruck but have we collectively stopped to ask why this truck should even exist? So I was in my "office" thinking and I realized that the CT is actually quite a brilliant marketing gimmick. Let me explain. The Model S and Model X are now...

    Which Cybertruck - Foundation Series

I did the opposite. I don't want it too soon as I fell Tesla has a track record of vehicle rollouts and the early units will have issues that they will fix in subsequent revisions. So the longer I wait, the fewer the issues (presumably). Personally, I would rather get the foundation AWD next...

    Which Cybertruck - Foundation Series

Does anyone here listen to what Sandy Munroe has to say? He sounds like he knows a thing or two.

Does the cybertruck screen tilt like the S and X?

In my X, the swivel is useful but only for the driver. When my wife wants to use the screen while I drive, it's an inconvenience and I set it back to flat. I'm going to say the benefit isn't worth the cost of the weight and engineering.

Cybertruck Will Feel Dated By the Time it Comes Out?

The cyber truck market is not (yet) the truck customer. In fact, the real immediate target is the soccer mom and dad. If you think about it, those people don't need a truck and will probably not get one but will get a Model X. Issue with the X is insufficient cargo capacity. The cybertruck so...

Those that have gone from a Model X to Cybertruck, are you happy with the switch?

On my X there's is the MyQ. I tried it during the trial and then never subscribed. It stopped working. Then a few weeks ago it's started working all by itself. So I'm not sure if they did away with the subscription or not.

    Back seat table/workstation

If you are in a model S, then I've found that the trunk is designed exactly for this. Open the well in the trunk. Be sure you have the visual cover in place. With the trunk open, sit facing the inside if the vehicle with your butt on the edge of the trunk and legs in the well. You'll find...

Extremely Disappointed With Model S Range When Driving on the Highway at 35F

Lessons I've learned with my 2018 Model S 100D: Buy a plug that will plug into a 30 amp RV socket. This will give you options off the beaten path Look up Blink, ChargePoint, EvGO and other chargers - it'll save you a lot of headache Get Plugshare and use that to locate more chargers in your...
