Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
Unfortunately I need to part with my beloved Apollo. Will consider all reasonable offers.

Just a reminder that the hearing for LB 51 (Tesla Sales in Nebraska) is tomorrow at 1:30 PM! The hearing will be in the committee room (right off the rotunda) in the Capitol building. Let's show up in numbers to give support and show the senators that this bill needs to pass!
I'm planning to...
UPDATE:
Bumping this back up to the top. If you'd be interested in assisting with the ground work/administration to get the Nebraska Tesla Club (taking name suggestions) up and running please shoot me an email at NebraskaTesla{at}gmail(dot)com We've got a small group started looking to meet...
It's a perfect halfway point between Lincoln/DesMoines. and if you're coming from the east going to Sioux City you don't have to drop south to CB to charge. That's my rationale at least.
As for NW Iowa, earlier this year I drove an unconventional route to Minneapolis from Omaha. My first...
Yes you'll need to wait for the FedEx envelope. It will have the MSO (Manufacturer Statement of Origin), Nebraska Title Application, and a copy of your MVPA. You'll need those things in addition to proof of Insurance and any Lienholder information if you've taken out a loan for the car.
Welcome to the Family!
Are you picking up in KC? or Home Delivery?
- If picking up in KC your Delivery advisor will email you a link to sign your MVPA ( Purchase Agreement). All other paperwork will be FedEx'd to you 7-10 business days after delivery.
- We've not really discussed...
A quick post that hopefully everyone will see,
I’ve been meaning to post this for a few weeks, but so far things have been so crazy I’ve not had a chance… until now.
We’re currently (between Facebook & TMC forums) about 50 people strong. I’ve had some preliminary discussions with Tesla...
You don't need to have it inspected since it's a new vehicle and never been titled.
As for the Mulroney, mine was an 8.5x11 laminated sheet of paper that I found in my lower trunk well when I got home.
I received my paperwork via FedEx Overnight a week after delivery, and licensed a few days later. The packet had a stamped paid copy of the MVPA, the Manufacturer's certificate of Origin (Signed by Elon ;) ) and a Nebraska title application. Make sure to also take the loan security agreement...
Saw your post on FB, I'm headed to Nebraska City & Lincoln here in a few but should be back through Gretna just about 1-1:30... Planning to stop at NE Crossing to charge. So I'll be a late, but count me as tentative.
Anyone up for another meetup either this weekend or next? It sounds like a larger chunk of us have our cars now, might be fun. Assuming the weather cooperates, that is.....
Mine was parked over by Upstream over the lunch hour yesterday, I've only seen one Tesla (A blue Model 3) Since I brought mine home a week ago.
I don't think my car came with a Micro USB, I'll double check when I get down to the garage this morning. If not though, I'd be willing to buy your...
I hear ya, I’m selling my truck next week but I figured I’d take it out today because it was raining and I had a few things to haul. It’s currently stuck at a restaurant because it wouldn’t start after dinner. I hate ICE.....
$4500 Rebates are officially all gone..... bummer dude, missed it by a week. I'd sure like to see the breakdown to see what percentage of Tesla/Nissan received the rebates. Any bets if OPPD ever releases it?
Now taking suggestions:
My OPPD chargepoint hasn't shipped yet and was over...
Gets more and more comfortable each time I drive it, I've gotten good at popping up and saying "I'll drive!" when someone needs to get somewhere :)
Also,
Looks like OPPD updated again this evening... 3 left + 7 or more days for paperwork + chargepoint hasn't shipped yet. Hope OPPD...
Did you get it? I tried to keep an eye out on the lot for your car, but I didn't see it.
They had a few things to attend to on mine so I didn't end up leaving KC for Omaha until about 12:30.
I absolutely love this car!
I think I just phrased that poorly... If you purchased from Amazon when their link still went there, it's fine. But after they instituted their own store, you have to buy from there apparently.
This is disheartening.... found out they were mistaken and my chargepoint doesn't ship until first week of oct. Double checked and an Amazon purchased chargepoint isn't valid since they opened up their own store. So.. chargepoint will show up ~ Oct. 5 and car won't be registered until ~Oct...
FWIW.... I emailed OPPD yesterday because I hadn't heard anything on my charger, and I told her that I was taking delivery soon and I was worried I'd miss out on the EV rebate.
Found out it shipped today and she said "don't worry, you won't miss out" Take that for what you will, at least it...
If the offer is still on the table would you be willing to cut a matte black for me? I'd be willing to reimburse you for materials or whatever you deem fair.
I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thanks for the heads up @Lpleiss ! Spoke with Jacob in KC, he was able to give me contact info for my IDA. My car is in the Chicago rail yard on it's way to KC. I guess they had me set up for home delivery, that's being swapped out now. This is getting real, I don't know how anyone expects...
You were able to schedule directly by calling the SC? I would imagine if my car is "awaiting transport to Missouri" at the moment that it would be on the same truck as yours? I supposedly have an IDA, but haven't heard from them.
My edit link stopped working last Tuesday, I called down to KC that afternoon and found out I had a VIN 615XX, I've called every other day since then and haven't heard a word until today. As of today I have a delivery advisor assigned (Finally) and they've said my car is on the factory lot...
My local Tesla store gave me my VIN a week ago, I still don't have an IDA associated with my account. The 1800 number tells me that my car is at the factory in queue for shipment. Said even though I have a VIN, I may not get contacted until my car reaches the service center.
