What's ironic is that we put up the most investment on, what was then, a risky automotive company; but the less-expensive Model 3 and Model Y took precedent on new features and changes to attract more buyers (to, of course, alleviate risk). A catch-22, but you'd like to think they would take...
On a 2020 MS and just got 2021.44.6 last night. I don't think they would completely exclude us from some of the goodies, but it's been clear that us vertical-screeners haven't exactly been priority, especially now that all models are on horizontal MCUs. Here's to hoping.
I just posted this on the MS forum: AP2/MCU1 & V10 - German Model S Release Notes Found Online
I found German Model S V10 Release Notes on Reddit and ran them through Google Translate.
Edit: Yeah, I accidentally spelled "Summon" wrong in the poll. Oh well.
I found the attached screenshots off of a Reddit post. Supposedly from a MCU1 Model S, no mention if AP1/AP2.
Credit for these images goes to "failion_V2" from this Reddit post.
"failion_V2" mentions that Smart Summon may...
So, I haven't seen it posted anywhere, but "Pole Position" is clearly not on the Model S.
Understandably so, as the MCU is in portrait, rather than landscape in the M3, but perhaps we deserve a game of our own! :)
I think Tetris would be perfect for our MS screen.
What are your thoughts? Any...
I loved reading this. I didn't even consider the parking spaces and driveway conundrums.
It'll be exciting to see where they lead over the next 2-3 years!
You will learn over time how to drive your car more efficiently. I used to worry about the same thing with my S75.
I learned to not constantly pedal-push and realized that I receive many miles back in the 120-180 mile range (I get more than 60 miles in that range) as that is the 40-70% of the...
Ah. This is even more awesome than the add-on shelf I purchased for my Model S.
God knows why Tesla left that empty shelving space in the center console.
I am also very curious to know what the exact hardware limitation was that lead to AP2.0 being left out of the fun. If my hardware can use artificial intelligence to detect cars and safely maneuver me through the freeway, you'd think it could spare a few CPU cycles to record low definition video...
It's also important to note that I posted the initial video because it was taken at night, which I thought would be useful to see so early on! Thank you everyone for your discussion.
I finally received my version 9.0 update this morning (5 days after launch), but I am still upset that my AP2...
YouTuber "Thien Nguyen" posted a video of the new Dashcam footage in v9.0
Too bad my AP2.0 S75 doesn't support it :( - Also upset that I have yet to have v9.0 pushed to me...

I respectfully disagree.
I already have 2018.24.1 12dd099, so this is a different update. I just initiated the install? I’ll post the release notes and version number when complete.
Received a new software update notification today. Will be installing it within the hour. Any idea what it is?
I’m currently on 2018.24.1 12dd099
