At what point are VINs getting assigned?

Was mid December, then 12/31-1/2. Then 1/3-1/15. Then 1/15-/1/20. Now 1/18-2/15.

After living with each version change, my opinion on them has improved. With this version it has only cemented how bad it is.

Pickup appointment was today at noon. Contract showed up about 8:00 a.m. Shortly after, my IDA called to say there was an issue with the delivery truck and delivery is delayed two days. But at least I have the contract.

7/21: Ordered 7/23: Contacted by IDA to set delivery 7/29: Date of scheduled delivery Not leaving me a lot of time to get a contract and get the payment issued.
