My understanding is that FSD has always been on its own branch and those firmware releases have only gone out to cars that have paid for FSD.

Of the 19,322 cars on TeslaFi, over 83% have FSD. Certainly that is not representative of the entire population, probably just because FSD users are more likely to be the kind of nerds like me that like to dig into their data, but it was still higher than I expected.

Looks like I made top ten and this is only for the last year since that’s when these stats became available in the api. Since FSD replaces the standard autopilot stack, these are all FSD miles. Can you tell I like it?

Omar has “Elon mode” which removes the steering wheel nag. This is only available to insiders and Omar is the only one I know of.

Currently it doesn’t care where your hands are, but it does care where your head and eyes are pointed and it gets mad quick if you are looking down at your phone

Some of the turns were so tight that it briefly came to a stop to check visibility and in a few cases, put the turn signal on :) The disengagement at 26:50 is one of a couple of accidental disengagements due to holding the wheel a bit too tightly. See the video description for the list.
