Yeah - I can’t get to the manage order page either - I get a too many redirects error eventually - today I tried it again hoping they had figured out the issue and got redirected to the login screen - and then after re-logging in - got the too many redirects. Browser choice does not seem to...
Stopped by this supercharger on trip during Thanksgiving - and this station was working at half-capacity (and I do understand how these older chargers work when there is another vehicle charging on the paired station number - but this was happening when I was the only one there - and got cut...
Really glad to see this - congestion at existing location is pretty constant - waits are pretty frequent from what I have seen. So even though it is only an 8 stall - at least with this being a 250kw there won't be a sharing issue so should be able to move folks through here a good bit quicker...
It definitely is - was there yesterday and the Saturday before. The previous Saturday we got there around 9-10am and there were just a couple of open spots. Then yesterday we got there around 6:00pm and there was one open spot when I got there and another that was out of order. While I was there...
Ordered on 4/1 - scheduled to take delivery this Friday the 30th. One piece of advice - don’t bother with getting loan set up until at least you have been assigned a VIN - and even then you have plenty of time - did that too early with my model 3 and had to redo it once.
Yeah - I think a lot of us (perhaps all) are going through this - dates moving around. I would not sweat it - just keep an eye out for a Vin assignment - you may get an email / text about it before you notice it in your web account. Until that happens I would not drive yourself crazy about these...
I ordered MY LR MSM around April 1st. Started out with the 1-10 week wording - then shifted to specific date range starting with April 17th - May 5th - then that changed and shifted out about 5-7 days and stayed that way until yesterday - when it shifted back to 1-10 week wording...so no telling...
I have had a rack on my model 3 for a while now - no real obvious drop in range with just the rack - and no real increase in noise either that I can tell. I have only hand washed my car - and frankly would be more worried about damage to the paint surface vs the rack in your typical car wash -...
Really great to see this - Santee was always just out of my way enough to make it a pain and something I tried to avoid going back and forth from Atlanta - so great to see this get done - will definitely make our regular family trips back to Charleston a whole lot easier. Can't wait to try it out :)
My model 3's have worn very evenly - had my car in recently for some routine things - had them check the tires and at 21000 they were the same all around. I don't drive the car that aggressively so I am sure that helps but the AWD does seem to be pretty good at keeping the wear front to back...
Yes - I would agree - I installed a Nema 14-50 and have found it useful in the situation where I am returning from a road trip and have say 30-40% charge when I get back home. With the 14-50 - I will be back up overnight easily to my 80% typical charge threshold - while if I had stuck with...
Interesting that yours stopped working - I have not experienced the same issue with 5.15 - and in fact I added the folding mirrors to it and that has been working as well. Wonder if there is some sort of timing issue with the signal and the various openers that people are using...
Yes I have noticed something similar when going into reverse - will make a point of using the monitor to activate the rear camera to see if I get the same delay behavior. Suspect I will.
I think that the plan has been stated pretty clearly - and the current lack of service centers has been acknowledged. So they need to execute on the plan to build out the number of service centers to satisfy the need for both increased service capacity and increased space to handle deliveries.
I thought they were still pretty rare where I live in Atlanta until the other morning when I saw no less than 6 model 3's, 2 model X's and 1 model S in a 1 mile stretch of road about a mile from my house - I guess we all decided to go to work at the same time :) Really surprised me to see that...
I tried several times to duplicate the sequence you described to see if mine would reboot - but so far I have not been able to trigger the reset. Will keep trying off and on - I am still on 48.12 software level.
I am really indifferent - I don't bother using it by asking it to play music based on a specific song. I simply go to one of the existing stations and play those from time to time. Slacker definitely needs to improve their suggestions based on a single song you choose. Since I know that function...
What software level are you on? Does this happen every time you make that switch or just some of the time? I have not run into this myself - but I rarely find myself in that situation - as I mostly listen to either podcasts off my phone or the streaming music - haven't listened to FM in a...
I especially would like #2 - I don't want to have my car auto-lock at home since it is in my garage. Thus - I don't bother with that feature - not a huge deal obviously - as I have an iPhone with face detection - so it is not too hard when I am out and about to use my phone to open the app and...
Yep - very cool that the car has a programming interface - hope you are able to get your code working - I would offer assistance but my expertise is not Python unfortunately - although I have coded in Python in the past - not something I have worked with in the last few years unfortunately.
Sounds like that would be a good feature for Tesla to add - e.g. instead of setting the start time - set the end time and have the car calculate approximately when it would need to wake up to charge to current limit set. Course I am not holding my breath on that one - but it is a great idea for...
Will definitely keep my eye out for that survey - they need to hear about their mis-steps during the delivery phase. Like you I have thoroughly enjoyed my car thus far. It makes my commute from Marietta to Duluth each day a lot more fun than it used to be - of course I will never tell my boss...
Yeah - I will order as soon as they come back in stock - really just need it to give to valet and perhaps my wife if she wants to drive my model 3 - although the latter is not likely - I think she is still scared of it. :)
Yes I would agree - Aeros look better to me with some colors vs others. The nice thing is they are easy to remove / put back on so if you like the look without them you can elect to use them only for your long trips where efficiency is perhaps more important.
Not 100% sure but it seems like I don't get that green message unless my car is pointed downhill when I engage the brake hold - I don't get that green message when I am either level or pointed uphill.
Took delivery on Nov 1st - no delays this time around. Couldn’t believe it - kept thinking that for sure I would get a call that morning saying my car hadn’t arrived or had some issue - but actually got a confirmation call the afternoon before saying the car was there and bank loan payment was...
Took delivery today on schedule (this time) - was contacted yesterday to confirm that appt was still on for today and that they had received the BofA loan portion of the payment. Still was apprehensive about last minute issues - kept thinking I would get a call before driving over to the service...
Were you already running IOS 12 before you switched to the XS? If not then 2 things were changed - both the hardware and IOS - and I have seen with previous IOS upgrades/updates where Apple would break significant functionality in the initial release and then eventually fix issues in subsequent...
You have a 2 day money-back period - so yes - I would say so - if they can't remedy it right then and there - I would certainly do as you suggested and just refuse the car at that point and ask for either a new one or a refund.
That's awesome - looking forward to some pics from you from the delivery! Hang in there - you are almost to the finish line! And as for your wife swearing she will never drive it - I am getting the same from mine - I think she is terrified of it to be honest - when I rented one here in Atlanta...
Yeah - my MVP showed up in my account very shortly after my delivery was scheduled - over 2 weeks ago now - but I just got the email to electronically sign it a couple of days ago - so just over a week before my delivery.
VIN showed up on my account page - right on cue - as I am now (hopefully) inside of a week out from delivery in Alpharetta. Submitted the electronically signed MVPA a couple of days ago. So getting close to finalizing this thing. Hopefully the car will show up on time!
Yeah - you are not kidding - I think I am going to have to settle for wrapping the front and sides and then ceramic coating - that will be expensive enough!
On another note - VIN showed up in my account right on cue today as I am now less than a week away. Submitted the e-signed MVPA a couple...
I have thought of doing the same once I take delivery - would be interested to hear if you get any meaningful response should you decide to send that letter. I think it is important that those in mgmt get some perspective from the customer side on all of this - hopefully they are aware of most...
I got a slightly different email from my IDA yesterday -
[email protected]
I sent a note to that address - so far I have not gotten it back as a bounce...
Awesome that your car is here...just maybe our similar cars came on the same truck - I know - wishful thinking on my part! Hope you finally get to enjoy your new car this Friday! Best of luck!
Yeah - I noticed that also - but as with many things in this company - they have not been consistent with their own policy - I have heard of several folks who have gotten this done after the fact. As this states though - it isn't their official policy to do so - so YMMV depending on who you talk...
Yeah - I did the same thing yesterday as well - will see - I am doubtful that I will even get a response - but I guess you never know with this company :)
Hey Dan - what did you end up having done on your car from the detailer? I am thinking that front (at least) will need wrap protection - and then maybe a ceramic coating over all of the painted surfaces...
