You can’t just stare. You have to repeat the secret chant. I’ve heard that if you add the special Tesla foot stomp dance to the chant it also helps, but that’s still to be confirmed.

I'd like to announce the imminent arrival of a new family member. My baby will be delivered next Friday in Melbourne. She will be red and shiny and probably cost me a speeding fine or two in the first few weeks while I am getting used to her. Boys and girls - ITS PARTY TIME...

My car was on the Synergy Keelung and I received the invoice and paperwork last week. My phone will be attached to my hand all week this week with the ringer on the loudest possible setting so I don't miss the delivery schedule call. My nails are getting shorter by the minute!! o_O:D:);):eek:

Invoice received - now the waiting game really moves up a notch :D:D Today I am going to invoke Murphys Law and book flights to Perth for Christmas. I just know the minute I do that, I will receive a call to book in delivery while I am away!!

I emailed Pepper last week after the wishy washy response from Tesla, and got a reply from Pepper saying they could see I didnt have a delivery date scheduled yet, and that they will receive the invoice once the delivery date is scheduled. #Itsalongwait #Ijustwantmycar

Interesting - I received a call yesterday from Pepper to apply for finance. I told the lady that I already had finance approved through them back in July, but it was in my hubbys name. Long story short, I reapplied in my name (I've told the Tesla configurator that the rego should be in my name...

I was told November, but that is looking less likely now, although I did get a call from Pepper Finance yesterday so *maybe* thats a positive sign? If you do get the tshirts made, I will have one in pink please ;)

Still no hidden VIN yet. I’ve been hoping for a November delivery but now I’m starting to wonder if I will even have my car for Christmas! Geez this wait is hard :)

Unfortunately I’m not on the cruise for another week. I’ve had one of *those* weeks at work this week, resulting in long days. Things will be back to normal next week and I will be a lot more vocal again :) PS - still no VIN, although I have only checked twice today!

I’ve heard via one of the Tesla podcasts that they make all the overseas cars in the first half of the quarter, then switch to making US cars. Apparently they only started this last quarter. It gives them time to ship the cars to overseas markets, and get as many cars as possible delivered in...

Ok thats two VINs we know of for P+ Red/Black. Now all I need is to start seeing VIN's for P+ Red/White :)

They might actually be built. There was a carrier spotted yesterday (or maybe the day before?) with a bunch of them on it. I dont think they were RHD cars though its hard to tell from the pics.

Yep. I've just found a poll by Electrek that shows 81% of people prefer the darker wheels. I shouldn't have a problem swapping them with someone :)

Noooooooo!!!! I DON'T LIKE the grey wheels and my order is also showing them now. UGHHH!!!! Now I'm going to either have to change my opinion and learn to like them or find someone to swap. Seriously at this point in time I think they are ugly and look like they are acheap imitation of pretty...

It looks like that VIN range was on the ANL Warrnambool which docked in Sydney on the 13th Sept. It may have also been on another ship but @Vedaprime spreadsheet lists that ship as the only confirmed one for that VIN range. I wonder if this is one of the cars that has been redeployed from one...

I haven't seen any new VIN announcements since prior to end of quarter. I keep checking back here in hopes of seeing/hearing of new VINs being assigned. I've heard of a few people getting deliveries booked in for the next couple of weeks but it seems like they all had their VINs assigned weeks...

I thought both the AWD and the White Interior were both released on the 16th July? That was the date I changed my order from P- to P+ with white interior. Whilst there has been a few white interiors delivered, there are still PLENTY of people waiting, me included.

Another week drawing to a close and still no vin. Seriously how long can this take???!

I am also travelling in early November (going on a 2 week cruise on the 3rd), I can just imagine that I will finally get my car on the 2nd and have to leave her straight away :( Or even worse - miss out on an early November delivery because I can’t take delivery within a week!!!

I had a quote for around $6k from a reputable PPF place. They also do part PPF for cheaper if you just want the front or high risk areas done. I think I will end up just getting the ceramic coating done instead, and wrapping some of the interior to protect it from scratches and fingerprints.
