Thanks! I will check them out. It'a good to find a body shop that has worked on Tesla before. I was told to get it fixed at Service King, it is Tesla certified but I'm not sure of their quality.
My 6 months old Model 3 got hit last week by an uninsured driver in Houston. I am at lost for words. I have some back pain, but I am thankful that I am OK overall-- my beloved car, however, sustained some damages from protecting me. I have uninsured motorist insurance, so that's a blessing. The...
Nah not worth it. You can do the following already with the Tesla app:
Hey siri what is my cars state of charge?
Hey siri What's left in my car's battery?
Hey Siri, Do I need to charge my car?
Hey siri activate my cars audible signals
Hey siri lock my car
Hey siri is my car locked?
Hey siri...
I very much enjoy using my phone as a key. After awhile, I forget I ever need a key for anything. One less thing in my pocket, one less thing I need to remember to carry before leaving the house.
It's always been an issue with mine, most of the times it shows +10 degrees higher. I think the temp sensor is inside the frunk, I put a thermometer in there and it seems to be around the same. Maybe it's a design flaw.
I have this issue as well, turning off my phone and turning it on again seems to work for me, although it did happen again today, restarting my phone fixed it again. You may want to try that until Tesla rolls out an update to your car.
In the not too distant future, imagine explaining to your kids/grand kids that driving with a steering wheel isn't all that difficult, and they look at you like "how on earth do you drive without full self-driving?" :p:D
Thanks! I'm going to enable creep mode and low regenerative brake on the way home from pick up, and maybe do a few more rounds of practice just to be safe.:D
He's spending his birthday today working at the factory to get the order up. I think he's pretty dedicated.
I pick my car up in 10 days and I still don't have a VIN in my Tesla account. My ISA said that it will show up 7 days prior to delivery. Time flies. Good luck!
It's less than the cost of the Apple Watch data plan (currently $10), and definitely very comparable or cheaper than other auto maker's plans. I'd rather Tesla makes money than going out of business.
Curious about the new $100/year premium internet connection package for any Tesla order after July 1. Does anybody know what date is Tesla referring to? When you pay the $2,500 or when you take delivery?
Maybe it's just me, but I like the map to be on the screen while I drive. Even when I don't need directions, I leave the map on just to check traffic.
I do wish the speedometer and other left side items are a bit bigger so it's easier to take a quick glance while driving, I'm still waiting for...
I went back to my old email where Tesla told me to select a delivery center, the link doesn't seem to work anymore, maybe I'll check with my ISA. Ugh I bet I was too excited to order and didn't see that option.
Is there a place to configure delivery center when you configured? I don't recall. I do have my correct mailing address and contact info.
Edit: apparently there is a way, I can't remember if I did configure or not  I hope they can change it to Houston
So I got an email from an ISA regarding payment and trade in info, also, was told that I need to pick my car up in Dallas- Cedar Springs, I live in Houston, is this normal? I did not move recently. Will asking the ISA to change my delivery location further delay my delivery?
Tesla is probably very close to the 200,000 mark. I'm all for saving the tax credit for other buyers but still, I wish Tesla didn't send me the config invitation until later, and the email sent out seems insincere, not even an apology...
I hope you get your Model 3 in time for your road trip. Part of me is curious as how the Model 3 will handle long road trips, part of me want to say you should rent a car to get all that miles on a rental instead of your brand new Tesla. If you do go on the road trip with the Model 3, please...
Curious, where do you find the 3-6 weeks delivery estimate after you place your order? I don't think I've seen one in my contract or under my Tesla reservation page.
