Android 12 worked fine when I upgraded last week. Then the car upgraded to 2021.40 and my phone will connect but will not unlock when I approach the car. Walk away lock still works. Wife's phone works and has not been upgraded to Android 12. Both are Pixel 3s. Very odd. Any advice?

Agree on all fronts. Never thought about the chance that somebody was in the car. Makes sense. I just love the 'speed up' tap in the car. And I also love the upgrade option from the app. Was trying to Voltron them into something even more awesome.

I know how you can skip the 2/3 minute countdown for an upgrade in the car by tapping the countdown impatiently. Is there a way to do that from the app?

For anybody into video analysis - the dashed lines come every 40 feet (in the US anyway), so at 55 mph, you should be counting roughly 2 dashed line per second. Take the dashes per second and multiply by 27 for miles per hour. Multiply by 44 to get kilometers per hour 55 mph = 5280 * 55 / 60...

EAP never will. FSD might, but I have big doubts that the hardware in the car can pull it off. The way the surrounding cars and people are rendered gives me no comfort at all. I would rather my blind mother drove me around town.

Yup. Auto wipers were definitely not on.

Little bit of ice in the wiper area made the wipers stick for a bit. Hit the spray button to see if that would help. They exploded out of the wiper hidey hole at max speed. Strange thing was that nothing I did to the wiper settings could stop them. Max speed, couldn't spray or turn them off...

44.1 solved my X problem without me even removing or reformatting at all. Driving for 2 days so far and recordings are working, knock on wood.

Same problem here. Reported to Tesla service and a ticket has been opened. If enough oither do this they will find a way to fix it. They need to do a proper unmount when powering down. Other devices need to worry about battery backup to complete the unmount before power goes away, but...

Got in this morning and he took my details and created a ticket. Said others had reported it. Sent it to diagnostics team, and expects a response of some sort within 72 hours. Also reported that the TeslaCam eventually stops recording and creates errors on the thumb drive (tried it on 3 so far).

Yes, maps are wonky too. Rebooted 4 times, no effect. Everything works on WiFi, no problem. After reboot, will work for a minute or so and then stop. In Ottawa, so carrier/roaming may be a clue. Anybody report it to Tesla yet?

Same problem here, and not just slacker. TuneIn doesn't work for me either, and web page loads are very flakey. Haven't tried yet on Wifi. This started happening the night before the update rolled out and persists after the 39.7 update. Have rebooted once.
