Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
So the weather was finally cool enough, and I had a free day, so I tackled most of the chrome delete with the matrix set. I think I took about 3 hours to do everything except the mirrors (not including time spent cleaning and with clay bar. Overall, I'm extremely happy with both the look and...
Has anyone tried installation of the mirror portions by actually removing the mirror? Looking online, it doesn't seem that difficult or dangerous and seems like it'd be overall much easier/reliable to deal with than trying to shimmy the wrap with water and such.
FYI, it looks like at least one set of Satin Black is available RIGHT now on the site. I am going for Matrix, so I'm skipping it, but I thought someone else might want to jump on it.

Whatever you want. You can put it on the center console door or wherever else you'd like. It's just a little bonus that Kenriko includes. I personally don't use mine.

Well, he's definitely still active on the boards. I saw his post in another thread from yesterday: How are the 3D MAXpider floor mats holding up?
Not sure why he'd post there but not check his own thread. I was actually considering buying from them, but the last page or so has me doubting.

When you say $225CAD shipped, do you mean shipped to you with additional shipping costs to the final destination? If so, will you be shipping from Canada or California?
I've had no issues with lifting on my RPM. I like it. Mine is glossy on MCR obviously. I also got the matching mirror caps. Finally got around to washing and taking a photo of it for the thread.

I have similar issues. I get in and it starts streaming music from my iPhone (which I have never used to play music from). I am unable to connect to any streaming stations for a few minutes.

The internet is hard for some people who want to automatically assume that everyone is as short-tempered or self-centered as they are. I didn't think your message conveyed a particular negative tone, just factual and brief. Sometimes people take short (in the literal sense) to be the same as...
I had no issues or major delays with RPM Tesla as well. It took about 2 weeks from order to delivery (east coast). I keep forgetting to take photos for everyone, but it's been raining the last two weeks here. I'll try to get one of the spoiler and mirror covers later today or tomorrow after I do...
I installed mine this weekend along with the mirror caps, and while I spent a lot of time being precise, the installation was super easy. I still have another day before I can take off the tape, but so far the fit looks good. While I did do some measuring, it was to confirm that it was in the...
I think it makes sense to post some basic configurations. It'll save you a lot of repeated quotes and PMing back and forth. For example
Model 3/S/X - Full
Model 3/S/X - Full front (bumper, front fenders, full hood, headlights, side mirrors)
Model 3/S/X - Partial front (bumper, half hood...
Totally NOT necessary. Happy to BUY the matrix set from you when it's available. You've already saved a lot of us a lot of money/time/effort with the work you all are doing. Want to support what you're doing in any little way I can.

Installed my matte black door trim today. Honestly, I don't like the look of it. It blends in TOO well with the interior. I'll either swap it out for matrix or just remove it. I thought the fitment wasn't as precise as I would have liked but that's to be expected since these pieces are butted up...
That's the part I was most hesitant about doing myself. I got a Griots DA and some orange pads. We'll see how it goes. LOL. I figure the investment of like $400 for everything including the film (I only got Scotchgard Pro). In the end, I'm not particular enough to notice swirls, so as long as I...
I just bought one of the last sets of the matte black door trim until matrix black is eventually made. I'm also still holding out hope for the carbon fibre door sill updates.

Oh I agree it can be worth every penny depending on your purpose. I drive cars for 10+ years and am too lazy to maintain a showroom level of shine for myself. If I was intending to resell in a few years or something, I might want to invest in hopes to maintain at a higher level for resale. I...
Yeah, I realized I'm just too cheap to spend $5K+, and I'm not obsessive with maintaining my car so I don't think I'd benefit much from doing an entire custom job. I'm going the DIY method of ceramic with Gyeons and doing a pre-cut bumper and DIY custom full hood.

I took my car to get tinted the other day and they were like, "Did you do the center console yourself?" Then I told them about your stuff and they were asking what other kits you offer. I told them you're working on a chrome delete kit and that's something they'd been avoiding for the 3 so far...
Got my Matrix Black console set and installed it in about 1.5 hours. I messed up and tore the edge of the cup holder piece when I didn't cut the excess thoroughly. It's barely noticeable but since we have the benefit of the backup set, I'm going to use it. I left a 5 star review which I've...
Wow, there are a lot of us in here from NOVA. I took delivery in Tysons last month. I'm eagerly awaiting @Kenriko's chrome delete set, but it'll likely be a while. I've seem some knifeless installs and they seem pretty easy. As with most of us, the major concern is the mirrors.
~Paik
I've been waiting for matte black/matrix door trim kit and the carbon fibre door sills to come in stock, but I guess I'll just grab all those later and grab this one now. Thanks for all the hard work!
~Paik
Just wanted to update folks with a tint quote that I got from American Shine Detailing in Sterling.
All windows + 1-piece rear = $550
Roof = $100 extra
This is for Suntek ceramic. I didn't get a quote for the windshield.
~Paik
I've been wanting a spoiler for my M3. Was going to get the RPM one, but I read that the Performance package spoiler doesn't come installed at the factory. If anyone is looking to get rid of theirs, give me a shout. I have no idea what the going rate is, but folks on here have sold OEM Model S...
I think I'll go with the EVannex one since it looks like a perfect fit for the sub trunk. Looks like a better fit than the RPM Tesla one I was eyeing. Thanks for the heads up.
~Paik
Wish I were anywhere remotely close to you to help out since I just got mine. Sorry to hear about the negative reviews and the potential design change on the sills; it'll definitely make logistics of selling them much harder : (
~Paik
These guys need to up their game and fix the mistake. I'm waiting on the CF door sills. Amazon has terrible warehousing issues. They frequently mess things up like if you send a lot (aka 5-pack) they have opened up a package and only sent one to a customer. Then the customer complains because...
I got a message from my ISA informing me that my delivery date for TOMORROW noon would be cancelled. This was less than 24 hours before.
Not only that, she is saying it’ll be late July to early August. WTF. I’m pissed that they would wait so late to tell me. Not to mention they haven’t called...
Chrome delete would be so nice, but how are you designing it? To be wrapped (i.e., must disassemble the trim) or easier version where you just install as-is?
I've been struggling with to go gloss or matte for my exterior accents like CF spoiler and mirror caps from RPM, as well as my eventual...
Has anyone done any paint correction on their cars yet? I am getting quotes from a few folks like American Shine and TLC. My plan is to take my car directly from delivery to one of their locations since I head out of town the next day for a trip. I would hope a single step correction should be...
Are these coatings good for glass? Seems like they have separate line of coatings specifically for glass surfaces. That may be marketing though LOL.
Also, I've decided to bite the bullet and just try out polishing. I'll try it out on my wife's car first just in case I mess it up : )
~Paik
Okay, so one question I have for all the experts out there, I don't a polisher or any experience polishing. Is it ill-advised follow Kenriko's steps except skipping the polishing for a newly delivered car?
I fear the answer will be, "yes, don't skip it before coating" which is going to make me...
I want to see more shots of the OEM though
I'm hoping someone will sell their OEM spoiler now that it's part of the premium package. It would be nice if some owner who wants the other upgrades but not the spoiler could request for it not to be installed upon delivery.
~Paik
@Kenriko also finished his door sills kit as well for $24 on Amazon (will be in stock in a week or so). It includes front and rear (not sure what the rear looks like but there are photos of the front in the thread).

Just wanted to report in on my dates.
4/18 invite
4/19 first config
5/20 delivery delay email
5/29 last config edit
6/18 ISA contact with vin 34XXX (I assume the last 5 digits of the VIN are what people are reporting)
7/11 earliest delivery date (which is the worst timing but they said if I...
