The OEM badge will tell you it is a Performance, and not a AWD. And of course you can race them and quickly tell the difference!

**UPDATE** Just received my VIN and Contract for a next Monday, Oct. 8 delivery. Breathing a sigh of relief, but will feel better once I have inspected the car, and drive it off the lot! VIN in 848** range. My over 2 1/2 year wait since reservation may, just maybe, be coming to an end...

Ordered my car in June for AWD, Upgraded to P- in August. 4/1/16 reservation holder. And yes they cancelled Silver for orders starting in September (forgot the exact date)

Have P- Silver delivery scheduled for next Monday Oct. 8.

Sorry, meant reservation date above. 4/1/16 reserved, ordered AWD with EAP 6/27/18, Deleted EAP 6/29/18, Upgraded to P- no EAP 8/20. Non owner.

One way to get an idea is to see how low the VINS go.

My understanding is only some test drive vehicles currently have them. Saw one this week at Rocklin Service Center. As Stated, best information out there right now Oct. with receipt to owners in November.

Made the change from AWD to P on 8/20. 4/1/16 reservation holder. Delivery estimate on 8/20 went from Sept-Nov to Oct-Dec. Later last week, delivery estimate went to "by October". Truly believe will get the car late September or October. Get what you really want if you can. Secure referral code...

Not as concerned anymore with "burst weeks" since they are already producing 6000+ cars a week, beating there set goal already for the end of August.

Planning to have lowering springs installed on my Model 3 when I take delivery. The place I am going to take it for the install says they do not have the Tesla Model 3 OEM Alignment Settings in their system. Where can I get the alignment settings? Thx.

Have rented for total of two weeks over the past year a RWD. Have on order a AWD (Sept-Nov Delivery with 4/1/16 reservation) . Today at Noon (PST) will be test driving Performance. Will let you know my thoughts in comparisons.

AWD has many more benefits then just much quicker then RWD. For $4000.00 more, we'll worth it.

Thanks for the info. I noticed in the Console tab that my RN now has a ":1" at the very end. Does this mean anything?

.93 second difference in this test between Performance and AWD for $12-17,000 more. Bang for Buck. AWD.
