My service center said you can’t just buy the rear screen on its own but need to buy the whole console. Anyone else hear that?

My 6 seater refresh has a lot of plastic creaking/crinkling type noises. Sounds like all tbe back covers of the seats creak on any road that is not perfectly smooth. But unsure where it's coming from.

The X has a larger cabin so I find it's more "airy" sound as compared to my S. It's still really good - just compared to 3/S, the sound is more spatial

I was also expecting a factory software build. The S I got in February was stuck on factory software for almost 7 weeks. But looking at the X forums, seems like most recent deliveries are coming with software on the current public branch. I wonder if Tesla is phasing out the factory software...

Picked up my new X today and it was on 2022.20.7. I've noticed an issue where the music keeps playing in the car when I exit and the car locks. I check the car a few minutes later and music still playing. Is this a known bug in 2022.20.7?

Picked up my X today. Oct 21 order - 6 seater, blue, black interior, 20 inch wheels. No issues with build quality. Only "issue" is with software bug 2022.20.7 where music keeps playing even after you exit the car and it locks, etc.

Yes - approved on Friday. Their posted rates are 4.99-7.99 so you can usually get .5 below posted if you are a high value current customer or a customer they want to try to lure. I think all the big banks have same posted rate and see policy.

Got my pickup date for Saturday in Ottawa. I got financing approved at my own bank as it was a better interest rate than Tesla - was able to get 4.49%.

My EDD moved from July 23-Aug 2, to July 26-31. Still only text is that it left the factory & vin only in source code. Hopeful I am able to pick up this week.

Did your SA say if it had arrived at the dealership or still in transit as they usually take 2-3 days to clean up and prep the cars before delivery.

Has anyone tried reaching out to [email protected] to see if they can get better rates that way - I know they are sometimes able to find better rates for the US but unsure if they handle Canada.

You run the risk of being permanently banned from buying Tesla if you flip it right away & you cannot appeal the ban

I had a 3 and Y, never had a FOB and never missed it with the car. I currently have a S that came with FOBs and never once used it - use my phone all the time. Phone as key is excellent. But had an X loaner the other week and with my kids and the ability to remotely open doors like we do on...

Just got automated text that my X has left factory so thinking maybe after the August long weekend I will finally receive it.

Why would you not reply and let it run out? Are you going to possibly change your mind? If not, its better to reject it now so an other owner waiting gets notified sooner than later.

Seems to be all current scheduling is BC or GTA. Has anyone who was updated a couple weeks ago to an end of July delivery in Montreal / Eastern Ontario been updated to actually schedule delivery yet?

I think this is why Tesla has been sending out the On Hold notices since I suspect more and more are cancelling and this really has a negative impact on their forecasting and even forward guidance in earnings calls, etc.

Last text I got was last Tuesday saying my X was scheduled to be built in the next day or two - since then nothing has changed and I am still showing July 23 - Aug 2. Hopefully I find out that it has been shipped.

I was wondering the same thing since I assume they need a certain number of cars for a train shipment to Chicago. Hopefully one of us in Ontario / Quebec get word their car has shipped since I think that will mean all our cars have shipped.

Sounds like they may be getting some order cancellations with the current Canadian batch they're building.

That's ~600 before my VIN so hopefully I hear of it shipping out to Ontario soon - my guess is they ship up to BC much sooner after build than to the East coast due to proximity
