Other main issue I see is that it’s way too fast on small roads. Coming out of my neighborhood it wants to go 35 even thought 10-20 would be way more appropriate.

I'm a more extreme version, having read it from start to finish about 3 times...but I can totally appreciate the "surprise" factor as well.
