Did you ever get this resolved? This just started happening to me this month. The only two changes were the firmware and my charge port door was replaced. I’m leaning on the charge port door since it seems to be a bit too coincidental. I have a service appointment so hoping they can figure this out.

oh i agree. I'd love to get some of these nice new features (summon, cabin protection, wi-fi) but at the same time, I do not want any of the bugs that are getting reported. feels like they keep finding more and more bugs with each update.

someone in one of the reddit posts says the next version .28(?) will address the brake fluid issue but the .26 does not. but there is a thread here that claims it did fix it. EDIT: found the post from: r/teslamotors - Model 3 brake and wiper fluid bug this with the brakelight issue from .24...

the VINs seem all over the place when looking at reddit. i'm concerned if this is serious or not?

i have a bad feeling it's gonna be longer at this rate. :( i was optimistic with 26.1 till the crashing/rollback update rumors and the # of installs reported on TeslaFi. :eek: i'm very skeptical of an August v9 update...

unfortunately i will prob have the same issue as you. once it's about halfway out it the signal might drop. i suppose i could boost the wifi in there....not sure if it's worth the extra $$$. :confused: i'll have to test it whenever i finally get it for my car. rumor is there's a keyfob coming...

oh wow it uses the internet connection??? might not work too well at my house:(:mad: feels like it defeats the purpose, especially if you're parking in an underground garage with tight spaces.

i'm honestly surprised you didn't get 2018.21.9 because I thought 21.9 was to address the braking issue from the CR reports? or am i misremembering the versions.

this ^^ if you're listening to streaming music or Bluetooth you can also hit the "pause" button on the screen.

i'm in the same boat. i think it's also because during that timeframe, when CR did their report, Musk made the brake update a priority and had it pushed out to everybody.

i thought it was weird they didn't fix it for the 21.9 version. It's not a big deal but a little annoying. :p obviously i'm looking forward to the good stuff in 24.7 :D

I would call service. Mine normally will beep anytime you see the lines indicating how far you are to the wall.

i just picked up mine this week and he said the same thing to me. keep it 90% and plugged in all the time. I've been only using ~20% on my daily commute so wondering if i should throttle it down to 60% like others have said. hmm decisions decisions.
