From my understanding of my following of Tesla for the past months, they are already installing the lines for the next generation vehicle at Giga Texas, is this correct (mostly known from the Joe Tegtmeyer videos)?
That would be the first time they are doing that without showing the vehicle...
TroyTeslike posted his estimates on Twitter but has already deleted them. From memory, his non-GAAP EPS was at 1.08.
He forecasted a lower automotive gross margin than in Q2.
I have a hard time understanding the new single motor model Y in Europe that cost less than the single motor model 3.
At first, with the rumor that giga Berlin will be producing model Y with LFP batteries, it made sense to me, buying a car build in Europe cost less than an imported from China...
He got this from this source :
With Q1 at 310 048 deliveries and Q2 at 254 695. If we substract to Q1 + Q2 deliveries the sales from this source of Janv - May, we get june deliveries of 157 874.
But it doesn't mean that was the production rate of june, cars may have been produced earlier in the...
I agree.
Being a student in electromechanical engineering myself (though in Belgium, so it's only ~900€/annum), I really don't think what I'm learning is that valuable. I find myself getting much more value in the last two Munro videos than in any course I have/had. With everything I'm learning...
What are the cons for the entities who need to buy if they can't buy all of their shares at the closing cross?
Doesn't it just mean that they need to sell more of the rest of their S&P500 stock?
So that they don't care if there is not enough offer to satisfy their demand?
Because if they think...
Apperently, there is a leaker who has been right before said that there was a refresh coming for model S and X. From a month ago.
It was on reddit, but was deleted : Model S range and interior update imminent?

"Heat pump is in production Aug. 2020. Tesla ordered 200k/year for Car 1 starting Jan 2020, 450k/year for Car2 starting Aug 2020."
It's about supplier for giga Shangai
Hey, I'm 20 and I find your informations very valuable. Have you a book of reference or anything (for info concerning food like you explain)? Or is it just hard research on the internet?
Thanks, and sorry for off topic.
Elon Musk sends cryptic email to Tesla employees about going 'all out' - Electrek
Full email :
“For many reasons, a great deal of Tesla execution worldwide is packed into the final week of the quarter. It is very important that we go all out through end of June 30 to ensure a good outcome...
The 2012 model S is still unmatched, so 8 years.
But with the technology today it would be easier to match is, so less than that. But the gap is growing, so still 8 years.
I thinks it's different, because autonomy is kind of a unreal thing for big players.
Batteries are not unreal, so they will not be doubtful (or less than autonomy day) when Elon will say they have a 1M miles battery pack.
Plus Elon launched American in space. He is more credible now.
But, like...
Making a van makes sense. It could be used by the Boring company to transport people, and Tesla can sell them to everyone. It's a win win for Tesla and BC.
@FrankSG
Hi,
So, if my understanding is correct, you sold your Jun'22 $700 and Jan'22 $500, because the return on investment would be higher on the Jun'22 $1400 ? And this is because those are more risky than the $500 and $700 ones?
Thanks!
Hello, I'm new to options. There's something I don't understand : if i buy an option, can I sell it and make profit if the option isn't in the money? If the price of the option increase and I sell it without it being in the money, am I obliged to pay for it if the new buyer exercice it?

After seeing the difference in price of the model 3 between Europe and the US, I was asking myself what could be the price of the current rooster, after the construction of a new Gigafactory in Europe. Can you help me with that?
Thank you.
Are you sure of that? Because the price is higher in Europe. SR+ in the US cost 39,500$ which is 34,895€. But the price in Belgium of the same SR+ is 48,780€. Again the LR is $49,500 in the US and €59,280 ($49,500 = €43,730) . I'm not an expert, just asking^^
