Ap 2 car still no beta holding out with some small amount of hope for 10.3 but I just don’t think they are running their training algorithms against our cameras yet so I don’t have a lot of hope for 10.3 either.

@jebinc don’t know if you saw this apparently at least one refresh s is in beta. Looks like it’s an eap person and not sure if this makes you more or less angry but at least there are builds of the software for your car hopefully that means you get it soon.

They didn't there are a few models of cars which appear to have been excluded, and it seems anyone who achieved a 100 after the Friday cutoff was excluded also. Not sure if there were other groups.

If you had AP 2.5 it would, but for AP 2.0 cars they have a different radar (which doesn't matter because FSD is vision only) and different cameras. So you are not truly AP3 at that point.

I think what angers me the most about this whole thing isn't getting skipped over for the beta, it's that I apparently have to keep driving in what is IMO an often unsafe manner to keep my score up even though I don't know if there is any hope of actually getting the beta at all.

There is a person on the tesla motors discord server who has a 2018 model x with no cabin camera that received beta.

That seems to be the case, or at least I have not seen any reports of former ap 2.0 cars getting it. Though I will admit my social reach is limited.

It seems like people with the refresh model S also do not have it. There are a few on the tesla motors discord that are complaining about it. I dropped by TMC because I think I am the only former hardware 2 owner that is part of the FSD discussions there. I hope you get the beta soon!

I will chime in have had a 100 since 10/3 over 600 miles of driving total and still do not have the update.

I’m right there with you and I keep wondering if my MCU is failing and causing me to not get updates. I don’t think it really matters much until the FSD update goes widely available. If I am still not getting that update then I will panic. Strangely it makes me feel slightly better knowing...

They sell them with the 19’s and the 21’s new. So I wouldn’t be too concerned about that, but unfortunately it does mean no magical range boost by installing 19’s.

The 19” rims have better aerodynamics but the big difference is the lower rolling resistance on the stock tires for the 19’s. The sticky summer tires on the 21” rims just destroys your range. Also Tesla can easily update the software for the 19” rims and it will even update the renders in the...

Other possible solution if your performance S has the 21” rims swap them out for 19” rims which should get you around 10% more range.

I I have eeros and a 2013 s and a 2017 x both connect fine and receive updates.

Have you looked at ev-cpo.com? I’m not affiliated with them but have bought 2 used Tesla’s and used them for both. You can also use Tesla’s used inventory search directly but I found ev-cpo easier to search nation wide inventory.
