Took Tesla to court for this issue and others issues. They lost, they had to take back my car and return my money. This is in Norway. They do not have fix, and they never will. My best recommendation is, layer up! Tesla will not back from this, so live with it or go to court.

I agree... my mcu1 has become incredibly laggy and Spotify keeps skipping when playing music! The browser is useless, I get memory corruption constantly, and it just simply feels like an iPhone 5 running the latest iOS... if Tesla has abandoned mcu1, they need to offer an upgrade solution ASAP!

If they do not intend to improve the browser for mcu1 units, they might just as well remove it all together... I find it more annoying that I have a browser app that does not work, than not having it at all! They must know it’s useless, so why still offer it?!?!

If you were rattle free for almost 3000 miles... in my head that means something within the struts wears down over time... and either becomes loose or just simply “damaged”. I would imagine if picking the struts apart and comparing it to a new one, you would easily discover where it’s been worn...

Ps I think Tesla should offer us FSD upgrade for free as compensation for this frustrating problem they seem unable to fix!

I’ll keep you updated, but fingers crossed that this fixed it for good for my part! Has any one gotten the 77-C and after an extended period of time and driving remained rattle free? If so I am still hopeful, but if not I fear it is just a matter of time until the “rattle gate” appears again...

I got the 77-C part installed in mid February, and I have been using the lower/raise function a fair bit because of snow. So far the rattle is still gone, and the car continues to feel better then before the change of struts. Didn’t take km in feb, but I believe distance since then is 1500 km ish...

When I did this I was on WiFi, I tested this when on LTE and I then see a decrease in speed on satellite view. Map view WiFi and LTE = browser is useless (not really working) Satellite view LTE = Really slow, but at least loading WiFi = OK, same as with sketch pad Sketch Pad LTE = OK...

Yes, at least for my car, putting the NAV in satellite view does the same for the browser speed as putting on the sketch pad or mars view. Really strange! 4 days after update to 77-C I am still rattle free. I have used the raise/lower suspension function multiple times. However, after the change of suspension the steering wheel is not aligned with the wheels... when having the steering wheel level/straight the car slightly turns to the right...
