Building inspector won't approve transfer switch

If you really want to save money, Just buy the adapter for the mobile charger. If you want more convenience, shell out the 500 (I think) for an extra mobile connector that will be dedicated to your plug in the garage so you can keep the other in the car.

Already have J1772 EVSE, should I get the Tesla Wall Charger?

No don't get it. I bought an extra adapter, although at 95 dollars that is a complete rip off...

    Charge Port Door Needs service

That is the pressure sensor for opening the charge port. Mine fell out the first time I opened it at home. You can superglue it back in and it will work fine. I did take mine to the service center and they replaced that assembly. Only took 1 day to get the part. I did have the car out in the...

    So sick of the negativity

I love my Model 3 but it is going into the shop tomorrow to fix defects. The pressure sensor in my charge port door fell out when I opened it for the first time. I also have a lot of body panel alignment issues. Pictures attached. I'm hopeful to get the car back in better shape. I love how it...

    2018.12 for Model 3?

Got my car on Tuesday and it came with 2018.12 which is sweet! The autopilot on the scroll wheel is super easy. I will say that I noticed the same autopilot behavior in that I had to actually grip the wheel and move it slightly to get my hands to register.

    Predicted Model 3 March deliveries/production

I'm not sure. I think they will release their total quarterly deliveries early in the week and then InsideEVs usually estimates what the monthly deliveries are based off of that.

    Predicted Model 3 March deliveries/production

I'm going to give a very scientific based estimate of how many Model 3s were delivered and produced in March according to Inside EVs 4360 Model 3's have been delivered so far. I received my VIN yesterday, 12xxx. With that in mind I belive that Tesla delivered exactly 4320 cars in March and...

    Extension Cord with Mobile Charger?

Yeah extension cord is no problem but the cord gauge is very important. My Volt has the option for 12 amp or 8 amp charging. I charged one day at my dad's house using a 50 foot extension cord at 12 amps and when I came out 4 hours later the extension cord was very hot towards the female end. I...

Potential Concerns, 19 inch summer, 18 inch winter wheels

Thank you for the reply. I'm struggling to think of any real problems but I would be curious if there was before I make the decision.

Potential Concerns, 19 inch summer, 18 inch winter wheels

Good morning, First day non-Tesla reservation holder. I've decided that I will be getting the winter tire set for my Model 3 and I want to get the 18 inch wheels. I'm debating ordering the car with the 19 inch rims. The size difference between the tire diameters is negligible (26.4" compared to...
