Hi All - Not posted for a while since selling my model S a few years ago. Just took delivery of a 2021 MIC Long Range a Model 3. My HVAC is making a squealing noise. Is this normal for a Model 3? It’s very loud and I can even hear it over music when driving.

No I never did ask them - just sent them a mail now so will see what they say. I don’t think the cost is going to be worth it. It would be cool to have a facelift 85D though!

It is also possible the bumper came from a wrecked car? I don’t know - but they had time to install the European type 2 plug so they obviously planned on bringing it to Europe for a while...

I guess this is European spec as it looks like it is charging on the type 2?

I'm AP2.0 so no dash cam. No devices plugged in either. Spotify is buggy (but always has been), track usually gets stuck like scratched CD - then the whole MCU reboots.

I had this as well with my 21s. Has completely disappeared now I have 19s. I also have standard spring suspension, so their response around air suspension is BS.

I’ve had my 75D for just over a year now and put on around 30k miles on it. Best car I’ve ever owned. I have driven it through 5 countries and currently planning my next road trip. It makes me want to explore, drive, and have adventures. I have never owned a car that can do that. Enjoy it!

I got supercharging speeds of 118KW - checked the option codes and had BTX8. Guess it would be a 100 pack now? For sure it would be locked down though.

Hi All - I am one of the few who had my 75D delivered with an 85 pack. Interested to know whether anyone in a similar situation has requested to have the full capacity unlocked? If so how much did it cost/ was it worth it?

As I have the BTX8 I wonder what they would replace it with if it were ever defective? Assume they would put a 75 pack in as they don't make the 85s any more?

I am one of the few who has a software locked BTX8 75D. I had a 100D loaner for 6 weeks and in the real world I never needed the extra capacity. It’s a nice to have for sure but would never pay for the upgrade.

Sure thing - have the 85kwh pack does that mean I’m only at around 87% at full charge? Can I be less precious around doing 100% charges?

In the UK with our fuel prices, I would spend £25k ($35k) in fuel over 100k miles. (25MPG) with my ICE car. I am able to charge my car at work daily for free and I have free supercharging. My monthly lease is the same with the Tesla as it was with the ICE car. It is obviously my lifestyle...

It works hit and miss for me. Some days it will work, some days not; on the same stretch of road...
