This is the downside of the Canadian model and the Canadian regulations... The distance that you have to be from the car is really small compared to the US. I've tried it with a friend. I have to be very close to my Canadian Model 3; whereas on his US-spec Model 3, you can stand quite a bit away...

I wouldn't worry about it. I mean sure.. in a storm, when your front bumper is covered in snow, cruise control won't work. That only happens in storms. Sometimes, your side cameras get a layer of dirt and automatic lane change won't work -- oh, I'll just wipe the camera and everything is good...

If it helps, I've had a lot of success with connecting to wifi, and then rebooting (holding the two buttons down). Doing that seems to make it phone home.. sometimes.

The order delivery ETAs are basically garbage. If they opened up your loan application, chances are they are delivering your car in the next 30 says. So it's best to fill it in soon. Also, why do you think dealers are better in Canada than the US?

That would be terrible! They've already delayed the yonge/Eglinton and Yonge/Sheppard superchargers. Removing the Lawrence supercharger would just be a terrible and frustrating move. Driving to Vaughan is always met with traffic + mall chaos. Some of us can't charge at home so superchargers...

Fyi, stop and go is actually better for EV than ICE. Slower is better since you're using less energy and trying to fight wind less. Even with stopping and going.. regen makes up a good chunk of that. Better than trying to drive 120 the whole time. Your 205+ makes me feel better about my 180...

I've never seen that; I'm on version 36.2 And I'm also in toronto, and I was in that area last week. I do have tiles drop out when my LTE dies which seems to happen on almost every drive. What version are you on?

I just picked up my car two days ago. I'm adding this to my list of problems but curious if anyone else is seeing this issue? I park my car in an underground garage (no LTE or wifi), but even so, the car instantly picks up the signal when I get out (which I hear is a problem for many others?)...

This happens because they haven't setup the car with your app. They only recently granted people access to the app without a vehicle so it's a bit wonky. For me, on the day of delivery, they already linked the car so I didn't get this glitchy behavior. And when the car is linked, you're good.

So I picked up yesterday and my account is still asking me to confirm my details and telling me delivery is estimated "Sept.'18 - Nov.'18" -- how re-assuring... Anyone else seeing this? The app works fine, but the my account page is all broken..

Today was rough; Showed up at 1:30pm, left at 6:30pm. Quite chaotic. However, in the end, it was all worth it. The volunteers there from the owners club were spectacular. They were really able to help out and got me through setting up the car, and finding a rep to track down my papers...

I showed up at 1:30 (30 min early) -- and they told me paperwork is delayed and to come back in 2 hours. How frustrating...
