    Confessions of a Model X driver

    I just dropped our P100DL model X off for repairs. Our new front axles lasted less than 2000 miles. Rattle on acceleration is back. I don’t remember replacing a single axle during my 14 years as a Mercedes technician. SAD.

    Wiper fluid not coming out

    Tesla probably restricted the washer fluid flow on purpose because the reservoir is very small on the model X. I can’t see the size, but hardly takes anything to fill it when it’s empty.

    New "Chill / Normal" acceleration modes?

    I think Tesla is hoping people will use chill mode which will lower stress on the drivetrain and chassis resulting in fewer warranty repairs. Our rear subframe and some other rear suspension parts where replaced at the first service to correct the rear alignment. Too much torque for those...
