Update from my walk today:
The Supercharger monoliths still have trash bags over them.
The Tesla navigation map still does not have the lightning bolt showing the location and open status. PlugShare does not show it open. Supercharge.Info unfortunately shows it open.
This Model X decided...
Update from my walk today:
I interpret the trash bags over all the Superchargers a continuation of the incorrect voltage being supplied by AEP. According to the Tesla Tech, Mark, Tesla requires the 3 phase circuits to be adjusted from 290 to 277 volts. This is easily accomplished by...
Status update:
TLDR: Lots of work at site but it’s still not open. Read more about specifics below

1. Screws are Installed in monoliths
2. The 1A, 1B, 2A decals are installed. The monoliths are arranged 1A...

I walked by last night and noticed that there is no red Tesla glow on the monoliths and the street lamps were not on. That explains why the power meter still reads zero
I just finished my walk. The fence is still up. The orange netting fence is across the entrance. The portapotty is still there. The Supercharger monoliths are still not complete with screws. The power meter still shows zero power consumed. And the auto map does not display the location...
It hasn’t shown up on the car navigation map, the chain link fence is still up around the Superchargers and the screws aren’t installed in the monoliths.
Since it still is a construction site I don’t think it’s wise to use
Status from my walk today:
1. The meter is installed and shows zero power used.
2. None of the monoliths have the final screws installed.
3. The 1A, 1B, 2A... decals are not installed
4. The Tesla Sevice Center telephone number decal on each Supercharger monolith is not installed.
5...
I don’t think any additional enclosures will be done. The Grove City Supercharger does not have a fence/enclosure around the meter. Unless code has changed, the meter must be clear for reading and repair. And less impactful but interesting: All Superchargers between here and Seattle following...
Status from my walk to the Supercharger today:
1. The vertical square slotted channel that the meter enclosure attached was replaced with circular steel tubing. It required new concrete footings and the old square slotted posts to be sawed off at the base of the old concrete base. This is...
Walked up to the Supercharger late today. I noticed an “Approved for Energy” sticker from Columbus Building and Zoning dated 8/16/2018.
There was no red tag on the meter box.
Does this mean the inspection passed and it’s just waiting on the meter install, final monolith screws installed...
I returned from a quick trip south yesterday and took a look at the Grove City Supercharger meter installation. The only difference is the meter enclosure is attached directly to the the slotted channel that is mounted to the ground. The Dublin Supercharger has the meter enclosure attached to...
Meant to say:
3. The 1-5 (A/B) identifier decals have not been placed on the Tesla charging monoliths. I hope they use 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B placement and not 1A, 2A, 3A, ..., 1B, 2B, 3B. Most have been 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B... in my travels across country
My daily walk found additional status:
1. A new electric pole has been installed to attach electric to the main green transformer. You can see that the wire cable connections have not been done through the PVC tunnel to the main green transformer and the main 1440v wires on the poles are not...
Just returned from my month long cross country trip in my MX and did my walk up to the Dublin Supercharger this evening. Status:
1. Main green transformer is set on cement pad.
2. The electric meter is not installed yet.
@JohnnyG, Great update! I look forward to following the progress while I’m on the road!
Since no one is watering the sod and there is no sprinkler system I hope some good soaking rains occur. Unfortunately it’s now July...
Staying in Boulder and charging should be easy as a new Supercharger just went online in the 28th St mall.
@jrreno, Seattle seems problematic. I’m going to be on the east side in the Redmond area but the closest Supercharger appears to be in Alderwood mall? Maybe SpaceX will have some...
You have wait for now. If your car is at the S.C. you can ask them to push updates. Also, Elon said they are working on something that will let you request downloads from your car - no timeframe given.
If the installation part does get completed as you heard, Tesla still needs to come out and...
I updated to 2018.24.1 this morning.
Since I live less than a mile from the Supercharger you definitely beat me!
No beer...
I’d say you are eclipsing me!
I doubt it. There is no (big green) step down transformer delivered yet and the AEP tap to the main power isn’t started. There also is no meter installed. AEP needs to get involved and they aren’t the most expeditious company.
My guess is end of July.
@vbaker, Thanks for braving the heat!
Updates from my walk today:
1. @JohnnyG - Picture of D.C. Supercharger cabinet specs. It’s a V2 135 (120) KW version. The little heat vent diverters are still missing.
2. Behold! Some of the Tesla Monolithic Car Charger ports are placed ready to be...
Updates from my walk today:
1. Workers putting up siding around charging cabinets
2. Steel barrier posts installed around main transformer concrete pad
3. Grass sod delivered to site
4. Small paver walkway installed to small strip mall to the north
5. The Tesla monolithic car charger ports...
Updates from my walk today:
1. All cabinets are on the large concrete pad
2. They started wiring the cabinets today
3. The light poles are installed
4. They use a template to ensure the 10 chargers are placed on the small concrete pads are correct
5. The poles that have the “Tesla...
Updates from my walk today:
1. Gray cabinets placed on concrete pad
2. Tesla white D.C. chargers placed on concrete pad
3. 10 Tesla charge ports delivered
4. Brown siding to enclose charging cabinets delivered
A few updates at the site:
1. Three big gray cabinets have been delivered. They are wrapped in a brown tarp.
2. Vertical iron posts have been installed in the concrete in the big concrete pad.
3. The flush cut PVC tubing on the big concrete pad has been extended - yea!
4. Light poles have...
I went back to have closer look at the newly poured cement pads. They cut the conduit and then taped the tops with duct tape. The conduits are relatively easy to find/see. I touched one and it had a “give” like it was covered in cloth.
They are also removing excess dirt and putting it in one...
More work on the site today:
1. Using water pump to remove standing water in the small trenches on east and west pads
2. Backhoe deepened the small trenches
3. Additional gravel delivered to fill big west pad and trenches
4. Workers said they hoped to be done today with filling gravel if...
It’s definately a supercharger station. Check out the yellow tag on the left over rebar at the site.
They also put up a chain link fence to get ready to accept delivery of the chargers.
I live less than a mile from it so I’ll try to keep pictures coming showing progress
