Got my wife's p3d back today. Gloss black including chrome delete which was also gloss black.

i got my front windshield tinted with formula stratos. i had the air blue before on my other car. this was the latest so i tried this out as the heat rejection "feel" seems better with stratos.

if you were going to get some protective film regardless of color, then yes. Otherwise, the savings you get for getting a non black vs wrapping, wrapping will cost at least twice as much more than getting a non black car.

everything is satin black except for the sidemarkers. i didn't want to do too much carbon fiber as it might look too much for me. i did debate about the door handles being carbon fiber, but decided to stick to satin black to have everything blend in nicely.

i trickle charge at home. i live in a condo and i'm still exploring on installing a fast charger . my electrical panel is upstairs so it will be very pricey to put one. it's been ok for me so far since my daily commute to work is 30mi round trip. the only time i have issues is when I drive back...

the wrap was $975. i never really inquired about the paint as i haven't seen any info on it. also i was afraid of the door handles when painted (or if they will mess something up) or if something goes wrong *knock on wood* and they have to repaint it. wrapping is easier.

Finally got my chrome delete done. Looks so much better I think.

after a bunch of trials i came to the same conclusion as you. - get the ok after it informs you that there's no network connected. - turn off lte sux. i also have issues when accessing cloud. the blackvue won't always connect to my wifi (at home) or I guess any wife that i gave it access to...

can't wait for stretched tires especially. maybe nos too...j/k. enjoy your ride however you like.

curious how long these vinyl wrap lasts? i was told that ppf is thicker compared to vinyl wrap. The quotes i've been getting is where ppf is twice the cost of vinyl wrap . it it just the material that's both harder to put on and thicker comarpared to vinyl wrap?

i've been wishing for this as well. so i've disabled autolock for now as i tend to get stuff in and out of my car when i'm at home. garage profile is interesting but i would forget to switch to that.

with all the chrome delete i've been seeing. i don't think i've seen anyone do paint yet? Have a shot paint it i mean. With all the quote i've been getting to do chrome delete (which i'm not sure how long will last, or even plastidip), wanted to explore actually having it painted.

it should be a setting somewhere just like the ms. i can never remember how it is on the ms.

It really depends on how much you can afford. If you can afford the s , you won’t regret it over the 3 . I did the exact same thing and man the s is fast and more interior features that I think is much more driver oriented,

Anybody with pixel xl 2 having connection issues with blackvue? I tried it on iPhone 8 and my wife's pixel 1 and works fine. My Pixel XL 2 on the other hand doesn't work. This sux.

i ordered a few days before you (but i'm in socal). Mine went to production on 11/20 and I received the car this past tues 11/28. It was actually available for pickup the day before but i couldn't make it. hang in there.

Ordered 9/26, finalized on 9/29. Estimated date was end of nov / beg of dec. didn’t think end of nov would happen as my car went to productionbarely on 11/20. Went pretty fast after that.

Finally picking up my ms 75d tom. Arrived earlier than expected.

Got a call from my DS and said car is done production and will be inspected then shipped. Scheduled pickup is next Fri 12/1. Pretty stoked.

I have liberty mutual. Paying $2600/yr for model s 75d and 2011 bmw x5.
