Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
They are in decent conditions as their main purpose was to keep the Seattle rain water from soaking into carpets.
I would need to take them out of storage for pictures but if interested I could take pics.
Used driver, passenger and rear seats Tesla branded all weather mats. They are exactly the same as the weathertech with just a different logo.
Asking $150 OBO
Located in Seattle Area and willing to consider shipping at buyers expense.
They have been used for 3 months and about 3000 miles.
No curb rash or damage, they look brand new.
Michelin pilot super sport tires, mounted and balanced, ready to go on your car.
Asking $2,500 OBO since I no longer have my S and need the garage space. Would also be willing to chat about a...
My driver rear does the same. SC tried to adjust and still happens once in a while, typically when the car first wakes up in the morning or after sitting for some time. Never figured out why it’s happening.
I follow you on there as well ;) . I may have missed that tweet.
Out of curiosity, have you tried or what would happen if you take out a HW 2.0 and replace it with a 3.0? Is there an adapter for the backup camera, do the different filters just not play nice with 3.0?
In your opinion do you...
Correct, I am assuming that the block for us with HW 2.0 is because of MCU 1 comparability.
Meaning that if we can get MCU 2 we could then get the HW 3.0 upgrade.
Are you aware of any issues between MCU 1 and HW 3.0 as some have been told by service centers?
I just hope I can get my HW 3.0...
So this means that with the MCU2 swap us with HW2.0 could actually get HW3.0.
It’s a cost issue then as it would be a significant cost to swap everyone to MCU2 that paid for FSD.
Hope this means they are still at work trying to figure it out and will have it out soon for the rest of us.
The current number that are getting the new hardware is rather small compared to when they open it to MCU1 S & X and Model 3.
The ROI for them to develop a retrofit for the MCU is not as high as selling a new car or getting the Y out. I am afraid we may not have a retrofit till middle or end of next year and possibly as long for HW 3. I think we will know if they start putting in HW 3 in Model 3 before us with HW 2.0...
If they cannot get HW 3.0 to work with MCU 1 it will be interesting to see the path they take in order to upgrade. I really hope they don’t drag their feet on getting a solution.
Also wonder if the price paid for FSD will change the order we get FSD or upgrade to MCU.
Interesting that we would need to buy MCU to get the upgrade. where did you hear that it may be a $$$ option?
I am hoping that I can soon get the HW 3.
I’m on MCU 1 and AP 2.0.
Thank you for the detailed write up. Crossing fingers that us with 2.0 will get it soon.
Curious where did you see that MCU1 may also need to be swapped?
This may explain why teslafi just lost so many AP 2.0 cars. My car now shows it has no autopilot and autopilot 2.5 (APH0 and APH3). It actually is a AP 2.0 car.
Thanks for the info.
Interesting, just took a look and the Model 3 came back as APF0 and the Model S came back as APF1. We initially had EAP for both and later purchased FSD for both. Wonder if Tesla needs to fix on the backend.
Any thoughts from someone here?
24 hours or so after purchase...
I’m no NDA expert but if they are talking about receiving the email before they actually agreed to the NDA they would not be breaking it. It’s actually interesting and a good sign they are increasing their pool of “testers” for their software releases.
Nothing to break if they have not yet agreed.
Had the same issue. PM if you have further questions.
Tesla does not talk well with some devices on the same network.
What I had to do is set up another router with a different IP that separated all my devices from the car (guest network does not work).
So I read this whole thread and I’m keeping up with it but I am still not sure I understand how the confirmation of lane change works in v9.... as those that have the 3 and the x/s might have noticed we need to turn off the blinker when using auto lane change, as opposed to the 3 that turns it...
@BigD0g, can you confirm if the same number of cameras are used between hw2.0 and he 2.5? As of right now it appears that the only difference is that only 2.5 got the dash cam feature.
Wife and I will be trying to have kids and I thought it would be great to make the announcement to our friends using the mini toy Tesla next to our Tesla :)
I’m trying to get a referral to get it but it’s not working, unfortunately.
Thank you,
Dan
Only double solid not allowed in WA. The other carpool lanes have one solid line on most freeways that I know.
Currently, it will not go over any solid lanes.
