I think you’re misunderstanding this. If the car is charging then it is not asleep. Deep Sleep on TeslaFi just means that it won’t poll the car for data as often so you miss chunks of information...

DAB works fine for mine. It searched for about 20 seconds before locating about 40 stations. We do have PUP, we do have turn lights!

Use a company called White Car. They mainly rent out their own Teslas, but you can use their valet service too. It’s Valet parking for Tesla so they’ll meet you at the terminal, drive the car away, store it securely, charge it, and drop it off to you on your return. £20 a day is a bargain...

We bought a signal blocker pouch off Amazon. £6.99 and free delivery. Not as fancy as this rather splendid tin, but works a charm. I can stand right next to the car with the key in the pouch and it won’t respond, even if I actually press the buttons through the pouch!

@NAALSET has it ever worked? There’s an oft reported issue of the DAB antenna being grounded to a part of the chassis that’s been painted and so there’s no electrical continuity. No continuity = no reception! Could be this? Service Centre visit if so!

Very interesting, thanks! Tesla delivery called me this week to say it’s most likely going to be early December now. It’s a shame the estimates when you place your order are so far adrift - if it’s december it’ll be 2 months late compared to what it said as delivery estimate when I ordered.

@RWB82 Check in to E7 first - it doesn't mean that power after 7pm is cheaper (in fact that's considered peak time). It means you get 7 hours of cheap power during the night i.e. off-peak. Great for EV owners as you can set your car to start charging after this period starts - cheap for you...

Hi! For advance orders you can push it out 3 months beyond current delivery slots, not six months from order. It works out to about the same but worth bearing in mind... for example, today you can push an order back to Feb 18. Your £4000 deposit is lost (if you cancel) once the 7 day period...

Order now, set delayed delivery to Spring 18! Currently, you can push back to Feb 18, but when the month ends this will probably slide back to March 2018. :-)
