The EV wraps vinyl is not an easy project, but it's the cheapest option, and looks pretty good. The Laminars are expensive, for what they are, but are super easy to just pop on and take off. Also, the Laminars fully cover the alloy wheel which is crucial in attaining the right look.

I had to go with "Storm Shadow"... my favorite character from the classic 80s cartoon, G.I.Joe. I'm removing the Tesla T and replacing it with the Cobra symbol. I even went a step further, to go all in, and got my first vanity plate in my 25+ years of driving (see images below). Why not, right?! :D

I guess the Model 3 and Y have different frunk dimensions. I've only used this in my 2021 Model Y and it fits perfect.

I’m definitely not a vinyl expert but it came out pretty good. I like that I still get the most range with a bit more aggressive look. I would say if you don’t demand perfection then it could be a job worth tackling. Take care.

Glad to help! I vinyl wrapped the standard hubcap with pre-cut satin black strips from “EV Wraps”. Cost about $60 so totally worth it. However, it’s quite labor intensive. Took me about 45 minutes to an hour per wheel. And having a bit of vinyl wrapping experience definitely helps.

I had some extra satin black vinyl so I cut and wrapped the lower lip myself. The eyebrows for the headlights are from Abstract Ocean. The fog light covers are matte black plastic and were found online.

Just blacked out the mirrors and added some fog light covers.

Yah, I was going to use the two OEM black screws myself but there were a couple screws that came with the Rplate that worked for me. I think it looks so clean! And I'm having a good time changing up the sayings at the bottom. Haha. Good times! 😁

Hair dryer or heat gun and floss or fishing wire should do the trick (slow and steady, pulling away from the car) but reapplying the letters might be difficult. You’ll need to use some sort of mounting tape and that could be an arduous task.
