Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
$175 plus shipping. Brand new, never installed. Draw-Tite model 76430 (same hitch sold by U-Haul, Reese, eTrailer, and others). I installed one of these on my car with the $100 Tekonsha 118831 wiring harness and it has worked perfectly...

No, and this is hardly difficult information to find. Every car has a 1041685. Every car with rear-facing seats must have an 1015811 installed as well. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2016/SB-10081820-5448.pdf
To update my own situation, my wife decided to run over some nails the day after I posted this and confirmed that the spare (BMW 36116768861 purchased new 18 months ago) fits fine on the rear.
I never have tried it on the rear just due to the effort required to remove and reinstall lug nuts without power tools. My logic was that on the slim chance I ever do get a rear flat and want to use the spare, I can move a front wheel to the rear and put the spare on the front where I have...
The believe my hatch glass is already tinted. For everyday use it is fine, but I'd like to try the sunshade for the benefit of my third-row passengers.
Sorry I wasn't explicit enough for you. I would like to buy a sunshade for less money than Tesla sells it retail via their website (or service center). I would also like it to be in good enough condition to still function as a sun shade. I would also like to either pick it up myself if located...
Correction, I just went and looked in the car. The Superchargers (deemed) out of range are greyed out on the map. Also, you can search for and pin an address on the map,
No, you can't get directions to a supercharger (or anywhere). You have a map to look at (assuming the car has cell service), but no directions, or state-of-charge forecasting. You can however use abetterrouteplanner.com (slowly) on the browser and get routing and SOC prediction.
Unfortunately, I hadn't seen this posting and just put one on eBay today: Tesla Model S UMC charging cord | eBay
I am happy to cut off whatever to save on shipping should you win it.
Per https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2016/SB-10081820-5448.pdf , third row seats cannot be installed in these 2012 VINs, so double check:

Located in Twin Cities (55082). These aren't worth shipping to California with my wheels, so they are being abandoned in MN. 4/32" tread on the one I measured, no reason to believe the other three aren't similar.
Does your car display four tire pressures on the dash? If so, you have gen 2 (which we know in your case anyway since the change happened in fall of 2014)
I know that I can do the same thing with the fob, I know that newer version charge ports can be opened manually, but it would still be handy to have one of these remotes for use with my J1772 charging station. Stegen still sells them, but I don't want to buy ten to get one.
The spare wheel from a 08-14 Cadillac CTS is 18" diameter and also 5 x 120 mm bolt pattern. It is aluminum and 4.5 kg lighter than the BMW rim. Unfortunately, it does not fit over the front caliper (I didn't test the rear). It would probably work with a wheel spacer and appropriate lug nuts, but...
The service manual notes that a "charge port alignment tool" should be used when connecting the HV cables to the charge port. The tool is not expensive, but of course I can't buy it. Has anyone seen the tool, or done this operation without the tool to know if it is really necessary?
After spending too much time trying to find the holy grail combination, JST seems to have done about as well as possible. The BMW rim is inexpensive and readily available, with only a centering ring needed to make it optimum. All of the other 5x120 spares I looked at were either 17" diameter or...
