Update: car was supposed to be picked up in Costa Mesa today, instead got a call yesterday for home delivery! Weirdest experience, they dropped off the car in my driveway without notifying me! Who knows how long it was there! But luckily the car is perfect from what I can tell !! Last day of Q2...

You can most likely recoup 100% of your money (taxes too) When you sell they pay you for the car and then when they register with DMV they pay taxes. Given you already paid the registration fees they will "save" on that.

Morning! If those who got their VINs are still reading this thread (!) Once you get a VIN, how long do you have to make the payment and pick up the car? Like a 3-day window? Just making sure in case I'm out of town when I get the VIN. Thx!!

Reduce the expectations so much that when they do deliver on June 30th we'll all be happy VS missing those stupid EDD date ranges :P

Yeah that's great for charging (daily fee too) but super bad for running AC in the hot months. Can't have both! If you have solar I think it forces you on TOU rates. Otherwise you could bank on tiers and stay in tier 1 with solar.

HIGHLY Recommend to schedule an Overnight Test Drive like @cheryltunt said in this thread, so worth it! Good way to pass the time until delivery! Call the shop and ask for overnight drive, typically you pick the car after 5pm before they close and I returned it before 10am when they open. Asked...

Thx! I reserved early morning the last slot of the day but glad I called, said they clean their cars on Tuesday so he's checking when I can come for overnight. He asked if I had a reservation, apparently you need one for overnight test. Maybe if I like it I'll keep it :P

Looks like Tesla saw my post and changed 4-8 weeks to 3-13 weeks to new orders to match our EDD :P Might as well say 1-52 weeks to be safe !
