Interesting...I'm pretty sure the 100D that I just took delivery of has no dead pedal at all. The mat that came with the car *does* have a cutout for where the dead pedal used to be though, which leaves some of the floor of the drivers side uncovered by the floormat.

Are they coming out with a version for the 2017 model S without the dead pedal?

What's the deal with your insurance? I have comprehensive with glass coverage at a $250 deductible. Tesla would charge $1400-1700 depending on which windshield. There are no other alternatives to Tesla glass still....no Safelight, etc. Insurances just foot the Tesla bill no questions asked.

I had a P85 that came with a factory-installed spoiler identical to the glossy one I just got. I installed it the same way...bottom edge of the spoiler flush against the top edge of the trunk lip, so that the top edge of the spoiler overhangs the trunk.

Those pictures are the reason I did not want perforated seats from Tesla in any material, but the solid ultra white seems very durable

I've heard others say that because of the angle of the windshield on the Tesla Model S, it somehow becomes more of a magnet for major rock chips/cracks as well as the micro pits from sand particles. I guess it depends a lot on how much freeway driving you do, because the trucks and sheer number...

It's a very modern white color...ultra-white...unlike your father's off-white leather sectional. Personally I think that Tesla's materials suppliers are a notch lower than other luxury car makers...the black leather in my 2012 fared pretty well with car, but with lots of sagging and easy scuffs...

The all glass roof was the option that pushed me to finally let go of my Sig MS P85 with pano roof. I wasn't an avid pano roof opener, and I was always a bit put off by the big ugly plastic housing that effectively blocked half of the roof of the MS. The all glass is so much more spacious...

I think an earlier firmware did not disable the car from driving while charging...this guy just backed out of the SC space and the cable ripped out of the supercharger stall...dunno if it damage his car or not...but he got out, took the cable out and placed it on the ground, and drove off. Strange

I've actually seen someone plugged into a supercharger drive off without unplugging, so don't let the fact that you are plugged in keep you from putting your personal safety first. If you are going to sleep, I'd recommend reclining in your drivers seat, rather than sleeping in the back seat...

Have you taken delivery of the 90D, yet? if not, you might be able to negotiate to take delivery of a 100D instead for the price difference. Should only be $3000 difference. I would find it hard to believe that Tesla would ever offer the 90kWh to 100kWh battery swap for the same $3000.

Lol...I regularly forget to plug in my phone before bedtime, so this may not bode well for me! Perhaps Tesla will add an "Are you plugged in?" function to the app one day. WOn't help if I can't keep my phone charged up, but it's a step in the right direction.

The parallel parking video looks good to me. I'd be hard-pressed to do better. I mean, yes, I could do it marginally faster...but it wouldn't look better in terms of the number of adjustments and ultimate position of the vehicle relative to curb and the other vehicles.
