I’m also in Virginia and my EDD is Sept 7-10 and VIN arrived the same day as yours (8/25). Lends some credence to there being a delivery headed our way, perhaps, as I’m guessing shipping logistics have a lot to do with how things are batched.

I appreciate the subtle nature of it in some ways. Also, as a photographer, I can say that it's roughly the equivalent of Canon L-class lenses with their red ring. Ironically, all the more since since L lenses are (often) white, as will be my M3P. :)

Thanks @Bums and @finalleaf both - I've gone ahead and set it to Cash. Profile "complete", I guess - so let's see where this goes. :) That does appear to have locked me out of changing the financing any further on my own now, though... so I suppose the SA has to open that door for me again...

Can you define "complete profile"? Does that mean everything submitted including either "Cash" or a financing/approval done (with all the credit checks)? Or everything short of the finance steps?

Out of curiosity - when do SA's come into the picture? I'm just a couple of days into my reservation at this point. Should I be expecting contact from one soon to establish anything? As discussed above, I'm up to the point of leaving the financing part unconfirmed.

Was your SA suggesting that this had any impact on the order process or timeline? I'd also hate to get delayed because I switched financing in the process (though your experience does suggest otherwise).

Meaning my not having completed the finance portion might be delaying the order? I don't mind doing it right away... just didn't want the nonsense of a second hard pull on credit history (which seemed to be the basis for the "wait" advice I've read everywhere) if it ran long. Rock solid credit...
